Cute hostel right in the middle of town, close to food options and the beach. Internet connection wasn’t great, but the staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved that we could borrow shovels for the Hot Water Beach!

The property was well taken care of. We stayed in the backpackers rooms everything was very clean. The shared kitchen and sitting area was really nice. Wonderful location close to everything you need, including the walk to cathedral cove! Thanks!

Incredibly convenient place to stay. Huge kitchen. The shared bathrooms were always clean. Loved that free shovels were provided to take to hot water beach!

Had a private room in the guest house which was small but comfortable. Guest house itself is big with good common areas and decent kitchen. Owner was super helpful in giving me things to do as I arrived quite late in the day.

Slice of paradise

A little slice of paradise! We arrived late in the evening and called ahead to let them know and they had left an excellent guide to get in! The garden is to die for with bbq and great outdoor seating! Great kitchen, lots of fridge space! Would recommend and will be staying again!

The manager was very understanding with us arriving 30 minutes past office closing. The vibe was very beachy and relaxed. Was a hostel with guests sharing main areas, bathrooms, and kitchen, but had no problems at all, and other guests were really friendly. Was close to the beach area and boat rides, too.

The hibiscus flower on the bed was a wecoming touch. We were surprised to share shower and toilet as photo viewed appeared to have own shower and toilet. No one else booked other adjoining 2 rooms so we had our private wing, so pleasing. Large lounge and kitchen facilities were well equipped, 2 fridges and freezer and boxes for food. Spades provided to dig at hot water beach, great idea. Able to eat dinner at the local pub just a 2 minute walk. Hahei Beach just a short walk. Walk to the pa provided great views. Shame the walking access to Cathedral Cove and Gem Stone was damagesd in the Gabrille cyclone, only access by water. Boat tours and kayak tours available. We enjoyed our stay, off peak, would be busier in summer.

Beautiful relaxing garden's, friendly staff We stayed in the back packer area, although it was busy, guests were respectful of each other and wound down at a reasonable hour. Beds could do with a renewal but comfortable enough for a short stay. Walking distance to everything
