Evergreen Cottage @ Maui Adventure Villa

  • Surrounded by green with ocean & mountain views, is a quiet, cozy and private retreat with 2 separated spaces (studio + screen porch) taking in pleasingly mellow sounds of nature! Locally-favorite beaches, hikes, towns and restaurants just minutes away by car.

    The Space

    Conveniently appointed location—away from the uncomfortably populated areas yet not too distant for reaching the most desirable Island attractions.

    Additional Guests Beyond 2 People

    Each extra overnight guest will have to pay an extra fee of $30 per night.

    Guest Access

    Park on the right side of Koakao Way, on the driveway or on the grass.

    Interaction with Guests

    Our Staff is usually available on short notice to answer questions, provide any special use items, and to perform maintenance or cleaning.

    Other Things to Note

    Guests may request a variety of off-the-beaten-path adventure excursions when the Staff is available and for a nominal fee.
    A fire pit and sitting/hammock area is available for Guest use anytime.

The host, John, was excellent and brought us wonderful Maui bananas twice. The cottage was clean and comfortable with a small kitchen and a nice large lanai. The neighborhood was wonderful to walk in, and it was great to be away from tourist areas.

The host John was very accommodating and accessible. The property was just what we wanted, easy access and quiet because we traveled with two mobility challenged guests. It was lovely! You need to cook before dark, and between daily rain showers.

An amazing stay

The property was perfect for our family with an 8 and 10 year old. The kids slept on the lanai and were very comfortable. It really felt like you were out in nature. John was welcoming and the fresh bananas were great. We split our trip up with one week here and one week on the south shore and we’re very happy we did.

This property was amazing! John the host communicated throughout our stay. The views from the property were beautiful. Waking up to birds chirping was such a delight. The real Maui experience!

Sure, you could stay in some expensive resort or rent a 90's-era suburban home, or you can stay with John. This perfect little cottage is great for the non-tourist tourist that just wants to stay in a cute Maui neighborhood and feel like a local. Incredible views, local food, and excellent host.

Amazing view and ambiance!

This little hut is located in a jungle-like cozy part of the island, with views of the ocean as well! It's close enough to shops, restaurants and the beach but far enough to maintain privacy and seclusion after a long day of adventure. Would highly recommend!

We loved staying here and would stay again. But its not for everyone. It's more rustic and laid back than your typical vrbo but we love places like that. John the owner is a really nice guy who offered us a very generous checkout time. A great place to chill.
