"The rooms were kept clean as well as the resort itself, a very beautiful place as well as convenient. Waikīkī Beach is barely a 2 minute walk, and plenty of food options close by. The only thing I would note is that the rooms are not very updated. They’re comfortable but I wish the rooms were better considering the price. The bathrooms were AMAZING though. Love the bidet."

"I found this hotel to be very affordable for the spot it was in. Just a short 10-15 minute walk to the tourist shops and food, about a 20 minute walk to its beautiful beach, and nearby food trucks that had a variety of foods to choose from. Breakfast at the hotel was amazing, staff was extremely nice, and we love the Convenience of the laundry room (it is $5 per load). The only reason I gave it a 4/5 stars was the temperature in the room. The room never really cooled properly but we also never said anything about it to staff. Overall, this place was great and I would stay here again for future visits."

"Great location. Nearby everything to eat and walkable to all other destinations. Free breakfast which served all good stuff and omelettes!! THE STAFF WERE EXCELLENT AND ALL WERE SOOOO NICE AND ALWAYS COURTEOUS TO ALL YOUR NEEDS!! FROM the kitchen/breakfast staff to the Valet crew to the housekeepers, they were the best and made our stay extra enjoyable. We would love to come back again and probably stay at the Hula Tower next time!!"

Moana Surfrider, A Westin Resort & Spa, Waikiki Beach

"The Moana Surfrider is such a pleasure to stay at. When you're in Hawaii, you want an oceanfront property and the Moana has a great location on the strip. You're on the oceanfront so you can go to the beach any time you like, then take a dip in the pool after. Food and shopping are walking distance and there's plenty of places to go. Water is provided daily in your room and housekeeping is helpful, courteous, efficient, and friendly. Housekeeping will also refill the coffee pods and tea bags in your room as well that are also provided for free. There are three wings, the tower, banyan, and surfrider wings. We generally stay in the surfrider wing in an oceanfront room. The oceanfront rooms have a lanai with rocking chairs so that you can enjoy a coffee and the sunrise while overlooking the ocean and sleep to the sound of the crashing waves. Depending on which room you're in in the tower wing, you'll either get a a view of the sunrise, sunset, or both. The tower and surfrider wings have balconies/lanais if you have an ocean view room. The banyan wing does not provide either for any of the rooms. Towels are provided for the pool and the beach and you can also reserve an umbrella for the beach if you desire. All the staff at the Moana are friendly and helpful. We've stayed at three other hotels in Waikiki, but always go back to the Moana Surfrider."
