Awesome private studio w/AC one block to Sunset Beach

This is a great studio with private back yard and lanai. Comes with a queen bed, couch that pulls out to a bed, fully stocked kitchen, bathtub, and gas grill. Laundry is on-site, and gated parking for your car. Newly installed split AC system is heavenly!
There are beach chairs, and boogie boards for your use as well. You'll love the hot and cold outdoor shower and the zen feel to the backyard.
I'm running out of things to say. It's a tile floor and wooden cabinets. Wifi and cable included.

Perfect North Shore Stay

Place was awesome for a north shore get away! Very close to the beach and food, and a quick drive to local attractions. Very clean and comfortable, felt like home!

Perfect spot!

Perfect place to surf and work on line, great location and cool neighborhood, 2 minutes by foot from sunset and backyards, 10 from Freddie and Velzy.

Cute Studio on North Shore

My friend and I stayed at this cute studio two blocks from Sunset beach. Plenty of room for two people with full kitchen and bathroom. We were within walking distance of Sunset Beach and Ted’s Bakery. Convenient to everything on the North Shore. Definitely would stay there again.

Anniversary trip

Great location and beautiful backyard patio with luscious vegetation perfect for pictures. Bed was a little firm but everything else was good. Great location for the beach.

We had a beautiful stay on the North Shore. The property was everything that we needed. It was clean, comfortable and felt very safe. The neighbourhood was gorgeous and we enjoyed eating at Ted’s across the road.

Cozy Cottage

I would definitely stay here again, just without the rain. I wanted a place with access to a nice beach, a sunset view(from the beach), and a private outdoor seating area. This place meet all these requirements. However, it poured rain for our full stay. We took advantage of a break in the rain to walk on the beach. We were cozy hanging out inside.

What a great location! 1 minute walk to the beach, amazing! Super easy to follow directions and check in process, clean place with a nice patio. Curtains helped to block off the sleeping area and keep it nice and dark, and when you push them away the whole place feels bright and airy. We made coffee and breakfast every morning, and then walked to pipeline. This little place was absolutely perfect for what we wanted/needed

Great location

The studio was perfect for our trip. Like many studios on the north shore there is a constant stream of people staying so it could do with a little freshen up, but it had everything we needed. We loved the Lanai in the mornings and evenings. We didn’t use the air con much as the fans were sufficient. You can’t beat the location. Ted’s bakery round the corner and of course Sunset Beach. The neighborhood is very friendly and quiet. Every morning we cycled the bike path to sharks cove. We can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Stay was as expected

After seeing some of the reviews, I was worried what we would find. Once we arrived that all went away. If you are expecting to stay in a climate controlled surrounding, you probably shouldn't be on the island.... or find a hotel resort that will cater to you. This is the real part of island living, and you should not expect lavish style. The apartment was great, bed was comfy, and the amenities were just fine. The host was very friendly as well.

7 night stay

The studio was enough room for the three of us. The bed was comfortable. The studio was clean. The backyard patio was nice to sit at and had a cover and plenty of foliage for privacy. The gate latches could be replaced because one side didn’t close and the other side would blow open and would have to be secured with a string. The toilet fills very slowly so if there will be a few people going then just know you may have to fill the tank if you need to go back to back.

Had everything I needed

Spent a few days hanging out in the North Shore and Mike’s place had everything I needed. Full kitchen to make breakfasts, a beach nearby that I could walk to. Central jumping off point to explore all the gorgeous North Shore beaches by car. The AC worked great for the evenings and the ceilings fans during the day kept the place cool (although I was out for most of the days). The unit is on the ground floor and all the way to the back, and there’s a motion sensor light in the path towards the back which was helpful when coming back nights and in the dark. It was a little tricky to work the key to get in and out of the unit but other than that, it was all pretty easy going.

Pros - great location, close to Sunset Beach and Ted’s; A/C works good; bed is pretty comfortable; good sized unit for a couple; some helpful amenities for the kitchen; nice outside space in the back unit; parking; availability of washer/dryer. Cons - honestly this place could use some love and a few bucks thrown at it. Just general wear and tear, upkeep seems to be a bit lacking. Upstairs neighbor may be a full time tenant, and is very noisy. Would we stay again, maybe. But I would definitely look for other options before choosing to rebook.

Great Location

The location is perfect. Everything on the north shore is within 30 minutes, Honolulu in about an hour. We had a fantastic time and would definitely rent again. Pros -A block and 1/2 to beach -Size, perfect for a couple, or a 3rd or a couple kids could sleep on the couch and/or mats, with a curtain separator. -Ted's Bakery!! We walked there every morning. Get the French Donuts. They also have hot breakfast. -Again, location. Right off the main highway. Several beaches, shops, food trucks, etc. within a short drive. Sharks Cove, a great place to snorkel, is 3 miles away. Historic Haleiwa Town is 8 miles away with great shopping and food trucks. Cons -Kitchen is listed as "fully stocked". Several essentials are missing, including pans for the oven. -AC/Fans are wonky. The display on the AC control was barely visible, making it hard to know what it was set on. I think one of our ceiling fans had the same remote as the unit next door. We were battling over who controlled the fan. -No instructions for washer/dryer. I found some outside, on the other side of our unit, but wasn't sure if I was supposed to use them, or if they were for the permanent residence upstairs, or the other rental.
