Location, location, location!!!
Lovey was a wonderful host, along with her father, Frank, who had so many great stories to tell about the Island. The house was beautifully adorned and still had that home away from home feel. You could not beat the location as Sunset beach was right across the street. The other beaches were within walking distance, along with the giant Turtles. There were also many food trucks in the area. Plan on staying again if we ever come back through. Thank you Lovey & Frank!

Beautiful home proving an authentic experience with amazing hosts!!
This home is in a prime location, right across from Sunset Beach and right down the street from Sharks Cove and many food trucks! The home itself is super clean and in amazing shape! The living room and front porch provided awesome spots for our family to hang out while spread out!! Staying here allows you to experience a more authentic Hawaiian experience with a gorgeous yard and lots of wildlife - our favorite were the chickens! The home is well stocked with everything we needed including beach towels, chairs and boogie boards. Another favorite part of our stay were the hosts! Lovey and her Dad Frank treated us as if we were members of their family. Lovey left us fresh fruit from the yard and made sure we had everything we needed and more! We truly enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to our next visit!! Mahalo Lovey!!

North Shore
Amazing home with amazing hosts. Lovey and Frank made us feel welcome and were very attentive. They shared fruit from their garden and gave us beautiful leis on the day of our departure. The ventilation in the home is so good that AC is not needed. The location is directly across Sunset Beach and a short walk to the Pillbox hike and Ted's bakery. Hope to return soon.

Fabulous In Every Way
Our Host, Lovey, was extremely welcoming to our Ohana. We felt very welcomed from the moment we arrived. The home was immaculate and beautiful. The location was superb! It was a dream come true for our family to be staying steps away from Sunset Beach. We have nothing negative to say about our experience and only praise for Lovey and her beautiful family. Amazing vacation
Sure, the location can't be beat; the house, with the wrap-around porch looking the mountain AND the ocean makes this unbeatable. But the key to a great vacation were the hosts: they made all the logistics very easy and were a lot of fun to be around, sharing local knowledge, North Shore history and swapping stories. We can't recommend this enough, no hesitations here. It'll definitely be a repeat stay for our family.

Amazing location and amazing place
Lovey was an excellent host. Very good commentator. It’s right across from world famous Sunset Beach and just about a mile or less away from Pipeline. The views were great from the living room and outside deck. The kitchen was big and had mostly everything you need. The showers were great and had good pressure and hot water. They had boogie boards, nice beach towels. There is a stand called Sunrise Shack right in front of the property that serves great Acai bowls. I’ll just end by saying we highly recommend this place…Lovey will make you feel like Ohana 🤙

Best place to rent on the North Shore!
Location is absolutely perfect to get around the North Shore. Property is located near lots of food trucks and right across from Sunset Beach. The property is absolutely gorgeous and the house has plenty of room for 4 people to stay in. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else and would come back and rent from this location again!! Owners are extremely nice and treat you like family.

Amazing vacation!
First I would like to thank Lovey and Frank for opening their home to us. They are incredibly kind, generous and fun to talk with and the best resources to ask questions about the area. Truly awesome people. The home was perfect. We were able to catch a sunset across the street almost every night at Sunset Beach Park. My husband was able to walk the path along the street and hike up the hill behind the home and said it was a really nice hike. We looked forward to getting back to our home base after touring the island and enjoying a beverage on the beautiful deck. The house is open so it's easy to gather in the living room and dining room/kitchen and visit with everyone at once. We had 7 people in our group from ages 22 to 80 and never felt on top of each other. The animals were fun to watch on the farm and all the flowers are just so beautiful. Lovey brought us a bunch of Apple Banana's that were grown on the farm and they were so delicious. Also, we all were made the most beautifu Lei's from the flowers grown on the farm. We all wore them home on the plane and received so many compliments on them and they smelled so incredible and made the plane ride home much nicer. Thank you Lovey and Frank and if we are blessed to visit the island again we will definitely try to stay here if available.

Didn't want to leave!!
I cannot say enough about this absolutely amazing experience! From the second we pulled into the driveway, we were graced with the genuine hospitality provided by Lovey and Frank. They immediately made us feel like part of their family! The house was perfect for our family of 6. Sitting on the lanai, you feel the most heavenly breeze as you try to take in the true beauty of Hawaii. It is truly breath-taking! The kids loved walking across the street to Sunset Beach, looking at the roosters, and visiting the food trucks on the property. They even loved hanging the laundry on the line! Lovey thought of everything when preparing the house! It was spotless and had anything you might need - plenty of towels, beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards,... The decor is authentically Hawaiian and absolutely gorgeous. She even thought to put games in the drawers for some family fun. Just a few minutes down the road you can be at cute shops, world famous surfing beaches, and plenty of delicious food trucks. (Thank you Frank and Lovey for giving us tips!) The charm of this property transforms you and you will escape the stresses of everyday life. No experience we have had compares to this. Even though we were leaving there to go to Maui, none of us wanted to leave!! We left a piece of our hearts at Smokey Acre Blossoms and I pray that we get back there some day!

Authentic North Shore Aloha Vibe!
We had a great stay at Smokie Acre Blossoms! The host is such a lovely person with tons of local knowledge. The house is spacious with a huge wraparound lanai, all the thoughtful amenities, plenty of windows to catch the breeze & hear the waves. The location is excellent - right across the street from gorgeous Sunset Beach! Sunrise Coffee Shack is steps away for bullet coffee & acai bowls, legendary Ted's Bakery is a short walk away, Foodland grocery store, lots of tasty food trucks, Haliewa town are a short drive away. Stay here & experience the authentic North Shore instead of a generic resort!

Great place to stay
This property was in the perfect location for our adult family, right across the road from Sunset Beach. It was reasonably comfortable but a bit noisy as it is very close to the road. There are a few food trucks nearby which is handy. The owners live downstairs and are very helpful. The only thing this property needs is a couple of bikes to get around.

Surfer's Bucket List
Our family is from NZ and we stayed at Lovey & Frank's for a week in early January. My husband has wanted to see Pipeline during winter and surf the North Shore since he was a kid, and he has now ticked that box. The home was awesome. Great location, opposite Sunset Beach where my husband and son surfed. Close to Rocky Point and V-land also. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The home was extremely tidy and clean with an authentic Hawaiian feel. We loved kicking back on the shady deck watching the surf and looking at the hills, while treating ourselves to daily smoothie bowls from the Sunrise Shack in front of the house - what a bonus!! The Thai food for dinner was awesome too! The wild pigs and chooks entertained us, and added to the country-life feel. We made use of the snorkeling and beach gear which was handy. Future guests should be aware that the home is close to the main road which is very busy. The traffic noise and early morning rooster calls do take a bit of getting used to, but nothing a pair of ear plugs can't fix!! Or just get up and catch the early waves! Thank you our wonderful hosts Frank and Lovey, we loved our North Shore holiday in your home. We hope to be back and would definitely stay again. Mahalo!!

This one belongs on the short list!!
Everything in the ad exceeded our expectations. Authentic furnishings, A/C is the cross breeze from the lanai. The lanai is huge!!!! You can even sit out there during a rain shower. On our trip it was 2 couples. Only one ensuite so heads up. But the location is PRIMO for Oahu!! Quiet side of the island with the beach literally across the street. In the same yard in the street is the Sunrise Shack and on another corner of the farm size yard is a Thai food truck. The yard is an orchard with, chickens, roosters, and pigs. Fun to watch them run around but if you don't want to wake up early on the rosters call, bring you ear plugs because they will call before the crack of dawn.😘 The owners were beyond accommodating!! So friendly. I felt like family. They planned for every need, gave recommendations, and were great communicators. We definitely recommend this home and plan to come back.

Great location on the North Shore
This house is located within walking distance of Sunset Beach. It was spacious and comfortable for the 6 of us. The owner lives on the property and was very gracious and helpful. He could answer questions about the area and the island in general and offered useful tips about places to visit and where to eat. There are chickens and pigs on and near the property so you might get a wake up call but the sight of a man walking a pig on a leash and then having the pig tow him while riding a skateboard makes the wake up call worth it. There are several food trucks and food stands within easy walking distance.

Perfect location for a Oahu family vacation
We had a great time! Lovey and her family are fantastic. The property is very clean, the location is great. If you’re looking for a great North Shore experience- I highly recommend. The natural beauty of the property is unmatched. My kids LOVED it. Head’s up, it’s along a very busy street, it can be louder at night. My kiddos slept fine, but with the windows open you can hear everything happening outside. There’s a 2nd food truck that comes on the weekend and it does make the traffic right outside of the property louder. We were fine, but I could see how it would be difficult to sleep with some children.

North Shore Paradise
This is a gem of a property! It is as clean and modern as you can get on the North Shore which enhances the comfort. The location is fabulous and the views unmatched! It was spacious and comfortable for our whole family. We enjoyed the beds and the abundant linens and decent kitchen and beach toys. The hosts were accommodating and so hospitable! Highly recommended accommodations and we hope to return soon. Note for other travelers.... Minimal toiletries provided so bring your own. Also traffic to the North Shore from either direction is congested these days so allow ample travel time for excursions to "town". This property is in the country so embrace the country sights and sounds.

North Shore - Perfect Location!
This is the authentic Hawaii. Not commercial, not high rise buildings. Comfortable accommodations. Not fancy, but everything you need. Cool breezes, wrap around porch/balcony. The rental portion of the building is on 2nd floor, so do need to be aware it requires climbing a flight of stairs with your suitcase, which was not a concern for us. Our hosts - real people. Friendly, available as needed, but never intrusive. This is on a plumeria farm with some fruit trees as well. There are a few little pigs and chickens running around. It doesn't smell like animals at all, just authentic additional local color. Smoothie/coffee/acai bowl stand right in front of the property , a 1 minute walk down for daily breakfast. Literally just a walk across the highway fronting the property is Sunset Beach, where we ended each day. If you want to slow down, enjoy the North Shore and feel like you belong here for a few blissful days, this is a great place to stay! We spent a week on Maui staying in a high rise. We finished the vacation here. All six of us agreed this was the favorite. Thank you to the Fosters for sharing this place with us. Sorry we didn't get to meet you Lovey, but we are glad we did get to know your dad, and learn a little of the property history. Five enthuiastic stars from our family!

Perfect North Shore Experience!
Just steps from a beautiful beach, the owner and her family provided a true Hawaiian experience. The home is airy and spacious. It was perfect for me, my 3 adult children, and infant grandson. Equipped with snorkel gear, beach chairs, and an umbrella, our beach days were hassle free. In addition to the beach gear, the owner provided a pack-n-play and all the kitchen essentials. I highly recommend!

Amazing is the one word that sums up our stay at this location. It was a short walk across the street to Sunset Beach, and close to everything on the North Shore. The accommodations were beautiful! I loved the glass walls that allowed us to see the beautiful surroundings, and the constant airflow in the house kept everything cool. The huge wraparound porch was such a bonus! Add to it the kindness of Lovey and her father-you can’t lose coming here! They are some of the friendliest people you will meet on the island. It is a location that we would definitely come back to if we are ever fortunate enough to return for a visit. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Everything about this property and location are amazing! It's literally across the street from Sunset Beach. Which was great because parking can be very difficult at the beach we learned if you don't get out there by 9am. But not when you are staying across the street. When choosing the perfect house for our first trip to Hawaii space, comfort, location and the property having to look like we were in Hawaii were all priorities. This property has all of that and then some. The views of the ocean and mountains from the huge deck are "Hawaii". It's very very spacious and the beds and living room so comfortable. It has everything you could need. The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots, pans, toaster, crock pot, rice cooker and spices/seasonings. They thought of everything. The property is beautiful and the wood work done by Frank throughout the house is AMAZING. Frank and Lovey were always around if we needed recommendations or anything. But not in an intrusive way. Which was something I was worried about. They are such nice people to talk with that I would go looking for them lol. They both have so much knowledge about the island, food and culture. Frank even made all 5 of us lei's the morning we left from plumeria flowers grown on the property. We didn't expect that or know how good a lei could smell. We loved our first trip to Hawaii, the house and the North Shore so much that I've already talked to Lovey about a second stay here next year. We can't wait to come back... every year as long as they will have us!

The property is beautifil and it is right across the street from Sunset Beach. There are amny other great beaches within a short distance of the preopery. The owners have all of the essential beach gear available for you to use including chairs, snorkeling gear and buggy boards whcih was really convenient and was used it everyday.

Central North Shore
What a lovely stay on the North Shore. The upstairs accommodations are central to both the north and east sides of the island, making it a perfect hub to explore those areas. While nothing fancy, the house’s space is simple and enough, plenty of room to stretch out. Beds are comfy, and portable fans are available if needed. Lovey is quick to communicate and help as needed. Grateful for this stay!

Fantastic House on the North Shore!
This house is amazing! The hosts are wonderful! This is by far the best vacation rental our family has ever experienced. The house is spacious, super clean, and very comfortable. Brilliant views of the ocean and mountains from the large windows and wrap-around deck. Plenty of beds and bathrooms/showers. The space easily accommodated our party of six, which included two 6-foot tall teenagers, who loved it! Lots of wonderful details in the home, the kitchen is well stocked, and beach accessories are available to take with you. Private, but also close to grocery stores, restaurants/food trucks, Haleiwa, Waimea Valley, Banzai Pipeline, and Turtle Bay .... all minutes away. Lovely ocean breezes. Easy off-street parking. Literally a quick 1-minute walk to the beach. Rent with full confidence! Thank you, Lovey and Frank, for making our vacation very special!

The Hidden Gem in North Shore (Sunset Beach)
Smokie Acre Blossoms is a wonderful place to stay for us group of 7. The location is in the gem of North Shore, and you can access Haleiwa, Waimea Valley, Shark Cove, Banzai Pipeline, and Turtle Bay all within 5-15 minutes driving. Uncle Frank and his daughter Lovey are wonderful hosts, and Lovey even taught our kids making leis on our final day right before the departure. Highly recommend this place, and we definitely will plan to come back soon.

Beautiful surroundings, convenient location
Beautiful garden and amazing views of the ocean and mountains. Location is directly across the street from Sunset Beach. Enjoyed watching surfers and sunset. Beautiful sand. Thai food truck next door many nights. Smoothie and coffee stand also on property. Tropical bowl was a hit. Home does not have air conditioning but louvered windows and screen doors made for nice breezes most of the time. Bedrooms have fans for sleeping at night. Lovey had a pack n play available for use for the baby. Deck on home was the most used room. Lovely, large and plenty of seating. Frank shared his coffee on a morning the power was out, which was a lifesaver. He also shared his giant delicious fresh avocado. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The road out front is the main highway which has its pros and cons. Easy access to the North Shore but noise as it’s the main road. Didn’t notice as much after the first couple nights. Lovey was a very responsive host. We had a couple questions to which she immediately responded. No complaints. Wonderful vacation.

My family went to Hawaii for my moms 80th birthday, and my parents 60th anniversary. We were going to have 6 travelers (we ended up with 5), so I searched for a house instead of a hotel room. I am so glad I did! This property was absolutely amazing and 100% helped make our trip even more special! The house itself was beautiful and very comfortable for our group. There were 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a sitting area inside along with a beautiful lanai outside. I intended to take a vacation and was 100% relaxed on this trip due in large part to where we stayed. Lovey and her father, Frank, were top notch hosts! They were so very friendly and willing to offer any help we needed, but were also very nonintrusive. The toaster didn't work the first day and Lovey went right out and replaced it for us. She was also a great "tour guide" even though that is not in her hostess description at all! She told us great places to visit and answered a ton of questions from us. She didn't seem bothered by our questions at all! Frank was just as informative which made our trip that much better! My mom is already talking about going back to visit every year! The views were amazing, the setting was amazing, the pigs and chickens were amazing, Lovey and Frank were extra amazing! I cannot recommend this property enough!! If we do make it back to Hawaii, we will stay at this property again, hands down! Lovey - thank you for making our vacation unforgettable! I hope your new grandbaby is doing well!! Beckie & Family

Great beach house with a beautiful view
We had an amazing time! North shore is the place to be when visiting Oahu Hawaii especially Smokie Acre Blossoms! Lovey and Frank were the most amazing hosts! The house was ready for us when we arrived with fresh flowers and fresh fruit picked from the trees on the property! We were a big group (10) there was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with and eat on. Plenty of towels blankets pillows. All the necessities we needed for our trip even beach chairs umbrella and snorkeling gear. The location of this property is perfect. Short walk to the beach there is also The Sunrise Shack on property to grab a smoothie or coffee which we visited daily. Overall staying at this property made our vacation amazing! We are so thankful for Lovey and her father Frank for sharing their home and stories with us can’t wait to come back

Relaxing stay with great views of a perfect location.
This property is spacious, with a vast lounge/kitchen/dining area with deck that takes in mountain and ocean views. We found it extremely well equipped for cooking and beach excursions and very welcoming in general. 3 couples stayed here very comfortably and cooked and ate together each night. There are beautiful beaches and hikes right on the doorstep and grocery store and food trucks nearby. Lovey and Frank were really responsive on communication and two of the friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. We enjoyed chatting to them and hearing Their stories. After a few nights in Waikiki, our stay here was the perfect contrast and we all thoroughly enjoyed our evenings looking out over sunset beach.

The perfect spot in paradise!
We will for sure be coming back to this amazing home. Lovey truly is the most gracious host as well as very knowledgeable and helpful! The home is spacious, spotlessly clean and has a huge porch to enjoy the view of sunsets and more. We travel a lot and feel like this is one of our favorite new spots!

Fun beach house
Excellent property. Excellent location. Fun beach house type atmosphere. More quiet side of Oahu on the north shore. Grocery store, snorkeling, beach and hikes very close. Host family was awesome and my wife and my kids had a great time. Definitely would recommend this property.

Amazing location! Phenomenal hosts!
We adored our 3 nights at Smokie Acres. What an awesome view from the deck and what friendly hosts! The beds were super comfy and there was plenty of space. You can't beat walking across the steet to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world either! Frank made us leis on our final day and their fragrance was astounding! Can't wait to come back.
