"The most not issue I have is that I booked Tembo House. When we got there they said we were across the street at Tembo Palace. I showed them the booking, and I had email the property also. Priced we were supposed to be at Tembo House. Tembo house is so much prettier. They said they were full and we had to take the palace not the house. Offered to move us “ if we get a room for tomorrow”. We opted not to unpack twice. Still I did not like that they tried to tell me I was wrong and had booked the palace not the house. When I proved them wrong they basically said oh sorry but that’s all we have. Make sure you know what you are booking. The palace was fine. Huge room. Clean great staff. But it’s off the beach. And not as pretty. No compensation was offered."

"I stayed for 1 night came very late 2am but the staff and hotel was very accommodating, contacted the hotel ahead of time and they was able to send info to chk into there portal so that I can chk in before I landed, when I arrived the process wasn't even 5 mins and I was already in my room, and dont forget the free breakfast which was great. I definitely recommend and will stay here again. Thk you spice palace for all your hospitality."

"Russell and the Emerson Soice team made us feel welcome from start to finish. A fabulous building with lots of history and in a great location in Stonetown. The rooms were all very individually themed and the bed was very comfortable. The fans and ac were welcomed for the warmer nights. The hotel private a great breakfast of fresh fruit, juice, eggs, pastries tea and coffee on the roof top tea house restaurant. Great views of Stonetown ! The Secret Garden restaurant served some lovely fresh dishes and drinks and there is live local music a couple of nights a week. Overall I’d highly recommend the Emerson Spice Hotel and thanks for a great stay (and thanks for the late checkout too)"
