We absolutely love staying at “A Cozy Home away from Home as it is conveniently located to where we are visiting. From the reservation to check out, everything went seamlessly. Communication was always appreciated and the host responded quickly to all correspondence. We will be back again in May of 2026.

Awesome Place

My wife and me really enjoyed our stay as the apartment was as advertised and very convenient to town / Hilbert College. The bed was “HUGE” and very spacious. It is close to everything Hamburg, NY!We highly recommend this host and place as Joshua did an excellent job with communications.

Cozy, comfortable and great location

We came to Hamburg from Arizona to visit my fiance's sister that he hadn't seen in almost 10 years and this apartment was perfect. The host was wonderful and gave us excellent instructions on how to get checked in a few days before our trip and made the process super easy. He answered any questions I had within 1-3 minutes and was so kind. The apartment was clean, very cozy and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept great every night. Location was perfect, only a 5 minute drive to great restaurants and stores in Hamburg, and only about 20 minutes from Buffalo. It was everything we needed for the 7 nights we stayed. Thank you so much!

In area for concert at HyMark stadium and was 12 minutes away with convenient Tim Horton coffee shop, shopping and dining near by. Waterstone grille- great service and food. Host very responsive and checked in during our stay. Bed was comfortable, few cobwebs on ceiling, but otherwise clean. Busy road, but didn’t bother us.

Comfy stay

We arrived during a winter storm. Property manager kept the parking lot, walk way and steps cleared. (Not an easy task that week). The apartment is cozy and in a great location. The only reason for 4 stars is, although the apartment is nonsmoking, it’s apparent that other tenants of the building smoke.

Great apartment

My 82 year old cousin, and myself (age 80) stayed in this quite lovely apartment. Very comfy bed, adequate kitchen, clean, and most everything one would need. I would have wished to k ow that the unit was on the second floor as it was a bit difficult for us to carry out luggage up the 14 steps. Also, I would have like to have a tea kettle to boil water and some Kleenex. Other than that, would recommend for younger folks.

Lovely spot in Hamburg within driving distance of so much!

The property itself is an older home divided into several rentals, most of which seem to be long term. The neighbors were quiet and cordial when we saw them. The space itself is pretty accurately portrayed in the pictures; however, the only difference is it feels bigger than the photos would indicate. The home has a central heating unit which puts off some strong heat (a bonus because some of our early April nights were chilly) and we learned window AC units were to be installed after we left (though we didn’t need them while there). The kitchen was well appointed with some consumables (there were plenty of pots and pans for cooking, more than enough utensils and plates, and even some basic pantry items provided). There was a Keurig with pods for use. The living room had what I assume was a pullout bed (we didn’t need it) but when in couch mode it was so comfortable that you wouldn’t even know it was a transforming couch like with other similar models. The bathroom was spacious and had clean, good towels as well as Q-tips, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner for use. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Multiple pillows of various type were available for use. I’m really nit picky sometimes, but I don’t have any serious issues with the property. Minor suggestions to better the space include: 1. Small table under living room tv at entry door for keys/stuff 2. Better extension cord management Overall those are minor things, and I’d recommend this rental regardless!
