We had a lovely time and enjoyed a comfortable and safe space while teaching nearby. The host was accommodating and wonderful to meet and speak with. It was wonderful to stay with someone who reduced the stress of our trip and provided clear and easy to understand directions.

Lovely Stay

The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable. It was located in a quiet residential area and close to transit, shopping and bakeries. When the weather allowed, we spent mornings and evenings on the patio in the back. Frau Brandes was kind and welcoming. We would gladly stay here again.

Lovely home from home on a beautiful street.

Great stay, would definitely stay again. Only 5 minutes walk away from Schlump metro station. On a beautiful tree lined street. Very quiet. Slept so well on the cosy bed. Wonderful deep bath with plenty of hot water to soak in after a day's sightseeing. Really good kitchen, well equipped for all your cooking needs. Nice living room to chill in and a wonderful garden to sit out in . Totally recommend.

Nice area and very nice place

We spent 4 days at Karine's place and really liked our stay. First the area is close to the center, the lake, museums and parks. We used our bikes and many things were 10 mn ride (there are also public transports but we did not use them). We also could park our car in front of the house, in a very calm and nice street. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and to cook at home if you need. The bedroom is a little dark (small window) but it's the only "downside". Nice little garden - due to the weather we did not enjoy it so much, but it was a nice view. The landlord lives upstairs so our path crossed, very nice person, helped us with everything we needed!

Good option for worktrip to Uni Hamburg

I booked this as I had to attend a workshop by the University of Hamburg in the Bundesstrasse and did not want a hotel along the main roads. This was a good choice: it is really quiet at night so you can sleep with the windows open. The bedroom is at the front of the house and has only high up windows but these can be opened. Enough supermarkets/restaurants in the neighbourhood and close enough to the Uni buildings and Schlump metro station. This is an older building so the basement appertment has high ceilings and wooden floors, and French doors to the garden. The furniture was adequate, the bed was good and the host very friendly and reacheable. The absolute highlight for me: having breakfast while watching the red squirrels rummage around the garden hiding the nuts I put out for them :-)

The apartment was perfect for our stay. Spacious, welcoming and quiet with the backyard being the perfect place for a coffee in the morning. Karin was super nice, made us feel at ease and everything went smooth. I would definitely stay at her place again.

Great place to stay in Hamburg

This was a great stay. Frau Brandes was nice and accommodating. A couple minutes walk to the U-Bahn Schlump, a couple minutes to Edeka, Aldi or a laundromat. We liked it a lot.

Karin is a lovely host. She speaks limited English but we were able to communicate no problem. She was accommodating, helpful and made us feel at home. The apartment has everything that you need and is located in a nice neighborhood. For those looking for a place to stay during Ironman Hamburg, consider this one. The U-Bahn station is about 7 min away on foot. From there, you're 3 stations away from the IM action. Highly recommend this hostess and this apartment.

Die Ausstattung hat voll ausgereicht. Kaffeemaschine mit Filter Gr. 4. Ein Toaster, wäre evtl. noch hinzufügen. Die TV Programme beschränkten sich auf die ÖR Sender, aber man kommt ja nicht zum Fernsehen nach Hamburg. Für die Nachrichten hast gereicht. Super war die "liefergelegte" Terrasse im Garten, gerade bei dieser Hitze ein sehr angenehmer Ort. Auch gut für uns Raucher. Die Vermieterin wars ehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten sogar einen befristeten Anwohnerparkausweis, sodass wir direkt vor dem Haus parken konnten. Die nächste U/S Bahn der Linie 3 ist keine 5 Minuten entfernt. Und für die Rückfahrt kann man in ein paar Minuten bequem zum Tanken fahren. Das Bett war auch bequem und lang genug. Ich erwähne dies, da es auch schon Mal nur 190cm Betten gibt, die mir zu kurz sind. Wir kommen zu einem nächsten Musical Besuch gerne werde hier hin.

Souterrain-Wohnung!

Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, wir dürften früher einchecken, fürs Auto bekamen wir sofort einen Anwohnerparkschein. Zur Wohnung: Die Möbel leider nicht "hochwertig", leider auch "in die Jahre gekommen", zuweilen reparaturbedürftig. Der Garten ist im Prinzip nicht nutzbar, erstens nicht hergerichtet und zweitens sind die Möbel nicht sauber zur Nutzung bereit. Die Küchenstühle sollten nachgeleimt, der Duschvorhang umgehend entsorgt werden. Flecken überall, Sofa Stuhlbezüge, Teppiche - hier muß von professioneller Hand nachgearbeitet werden. Das die Unterkunft im Souterrain ist, sollte unbedingt in der Anzeige erwähnt werden.Trotzdem Vielen Dank.

Lt. Online-Beschreibung schöne FeWo mit Nutzung Garten und Grill. Garten alles zugewachsen und bereichert; Grill dreckig und verrostet. In allen Räumen viele Spinnweben und verweste Asseln. Insgesamt eine ungepflegte und nicht einladende FeWo. Nie wieder!

Perfekte Wohnung für einen Familien-Kurztrip nach Hamburg

Die Lage ist natürlich das größte Plus. In weniger als fünf Minuten ist man an der U-Bahnhaltestelle Schlump und auch das Schanzenviertel ist nicht weit. Gleichzeitig ist die Gegend selbst ruhig und die Wohnung sehr geräumig, sodass man sich auch dort gemütliche Stunden machen kann.

Schöne Wohnung mit (fast) allem was man zum Leben braucht

Ich war mit einem Freund für die Eurofurence angereist. Wir waren erstaunt wie groß doch die Wohnung ist. Man hat eine voll ausgestattete Küche und auch sonst eine sehr saubere schön eingerichtete Wohnung. Wir haben bis zum CCH ca 15-20 min zu Fuß gebracht und es gab ein Bäcker und Rewe to Go auf dem Weg. Schön war auch dass wir dank Besucherausweis die Woche kostenlos parken könnten. Immer wieder gerne! =^-^=
