Beautiful room with modern amenities close to the metro and supermarkets. It's a short walk (11mins) to Hamburgh Central. We really enjoyed our short stay and would definitely return the next time we are in Hamburgh. A big thank you to Thomas for being extremely kind and accommodating.

Summary: Great property with professional and wonderful staff. Checkout wasn't as smooth as the other interactions, but being able to reserve a taxi for an airport transfer in the small hours of the morning took away a lot of stress. The location is close to public transport points or is walkable for most of the points of interest for a short break in Hamburg. Room: - Good size for the price - No slippers or dressing gown, which don't seem to be provided in German hotels - Slow charge usb ports available - Smart TV with YouTube, no netflix, casting or other streaming services - Basic kettle with instant coffee Bathroom: - Basic washing amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body gel) - No body lotion - Hair dryer - No rainfall showerhead - Consistent water temperature - Doorless design of the shower almost guarantees a medium to high level of water escaping Hotel amenities - Very basic gym, consisting of a few cardio machines, two benches and free weights - Free to use sauna

I could not fault the hotel it was one of the best stays I have had in Germany. Location -easy to walk to the centre and around or to use the transport links as everything was close by. Staff were friendly, helpful and the room comfortable and clean and was pleasantly decorated. There’s a wide selection for breakfast and food was lovely and hot. We ate in the restaurant last night and had an excellent meal. I would definitely return

Good location for a smart newish hotel. Overall very pleased with room. Areas for improvement: 1. Disappointed the restaurant and bar were closed on Sunday evening 2. The bed was not that comfortable and extra bedding needed now temperature dipping 3. Tea bags were not refilled 4. Breakfast was overpriced - we enjoyed it once but too much to take every day

A great hotel stay
Great hotel - practically brand new so very fresh and clean. All staff were friendly and helpful. Got some great tips for what to do and see in Hamburg from the reception team. Good location only 10 min walk from Hamburg central station and a couple of minutes walk from Berliner Tor U-Bahn station so it’s well connected.

Sexy hotel... Very Comfortable.
really nice hotel (in a not so modern looking area) and comfortable room. spa area is lovely! didn't have food or breakfast on site as it is massively overpriced IMO.

The Marriott was a wonderful stay as usual. Area to walk through to get into Hamburg centre is full of homeless and prostitutes at night. We didn’t pay the 25€ each for breakfast. We ate at The Gardens Table which was superb but a walk through lots of homeless. 2nd day we ate in the Turkish quarter at Backlava again wonderful breakfast & amazing staff. Hamburg were incredible and being patient with our limited German and did not mind speaking English to us where we struggled. Great stay, great city.

A fine hotel but some minor things needs improve
Overall a fine hotel but a 4 star hotel without shampoo/conditioner is not ok. Restarant was good and staff was helpful and friend. Parking is kindda expensive.

Stayed here for 1 night 5 Aug. No water in the room & when asked for a glass of water at the bar was offered a bottle at €7.50, so €7.50 for a drink of water. Following morning whilst in the bathroom room service just walk in, me and the young woman just end up looking at each other through the frosted glass, to be followed a few mins later with hotel maintenance just barging in, he didn’t say room maintenance until he was already a few steps in & he got to see me in my birthday suit. No privacy at all. Colleagues told me that 2 other people had been down to complain about the same thing. Informed reception on departure and they couldn’t look less interested if they tried and offered me a small warm bottle of water as a way of saying sorry (which they were told to keep). Needless to say that whilst I’ll be working in Hamburg a fair bit this hotel won’t be seeing another euro from me.

Great connection to central Hamburg friendly staff and overall rooms and hotel were clean. Only down side is the bathroom As it’s only got a glass door with a gap meaning everyone in the bedroom can hear what’s going on in the bathroom

This hotel is located within 10 min walking distance from train central and coach station. Good restaurants are all around. Check in was fast and efficient. Front desk was eager to help with protracted WiFi problem in my room where most will just say sorry and ignore.
