We had an excellent stay at east Hotel Hamburg and would gladly stay here again. The hotel has a very distinctive design style with a lot of attention to detail, from the furniture and lighting to the overall atmosphere of the property. It feels modern, well maintained, and thoughtfully put together with creative flair. We didn’t dine in the restaurant, but we did have drinks there a couple of times and really enjoyed the space. The restaurant and bar area has a unique immersive light installation along one wall adding to the overall artistic atmosphere. We originally stayed in the older section of the hotel, but due to construction noise from a new spa being built, the staff kindly moved us to the newer wing. Both sides of the hotel were very well kept and comfortable. The older section had nicer garden views, while the newer side included an nespresso machine in the room, which was appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the shower had excellent water pressure and reliable hot water. The staff throughout our stay were professional, helpful, and accommodating. The location was also very convenient, close to the Reeperbahn and Metro in St. Pauli. My only criticism would be the shower design in the newer rooms. The shower area is quite open with a clear glass door, and a bit more privacy would improve the setup. Overall, this is a very good hotel with strong design, a great ambiance and excellent service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hamburg.

Great hotel in Hamburg – perfect if you’re arrivin

Clean and fresh hotel located in a pleasant area of Hamburg. The room layout was a bit confusing at first, but once inside, the rooms were modern and very clean. The hotel offers access to a spacious underground garage with wide parking spaces – a big plus for those traveling by car. Breakfast was good with a nice selection, and the outdoor seating area added a great touch. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Hamburg by car!

East Hotel Hamburg - a need to stay hotel

Once again we had the pleasure of staying a few days/nights at the wonderful hotel very close to Reberbahn - as always the check-in went fast, the staff was brilliant (check-in, bar, restaurant), the flowers ordered for the rooms very perfect, the deco is amaizing - truely a need to stay hotel in Hamburg!!!!!!!!

Honestly one of the nicer hotels I’ve stayed at. Super chic, very comfortable bed, huge room and a beautiful view of a small garden just outside the window. Water pressure was great, shower is huge, and the staff was helpful, professional and friendly. It’s relatively easy to get to and there are plenty of cool spots to walk to in the neighborhood, but it’s not on a super busy street. The only knock I have is that the hair dryer wasn’t working so my partner had to deal with some wet hair. 100% I’ll stay here again

This is a modern hotel with aspirations of being exclusive. One enters a large space with a post-industrial feel, where the industrial elements have been warmed up by using warm colors and draperies. Interesting – but not entirely successful. It feels like the hotel operation is a rented-out part of a techno club. The rooms are fresh and also feature a non-traditional layout. The washbasin is inside the room, and the shower, whose door is transparent (!?), faces the room. The handling of the room's lighting is not entirely logical and is done with buttons by the bedside table. The SPA facilities are limited. The breakfast is fantastic.

The room design is different, we liked it. We had a lovely garden view. We stayed on weeknights and the club/bar area was quiet. The days were very warm the last week of August, and the AC was adequate. Apparently most accommodations don't have AC, so we felt lucky. We walked everywhere from our hotel to see the sights. Train station close enough to walk, but Uber was easier! The location was ideal for us.
