Mostly had a good stay

Great breakfast, nice pool and sauna area. However we ran out of toilet paper as it was not restocked, luckilly we had a roll of our own with us. Also, a white clothes-ware dissappeared from our room during our stay and instead we found an extra towel. Obviously just an accident/misstake, but I would have expected better handling and some kind of reimbursement when paying €250 / night than a "we did not find it". Piano bar also a nice spot in the evenings.

The hotel was lovely throughout, the pool, gym and sauna all great and excellent opening hours. Bar and lobby lovely places to sit. My only issue was there wasn’t any milk in the room for my drink, although the bar kindly gave this. The cost of breakfast was pricey when it is the same cost for adults and children. We therefore did not eat breakfast in the hotel

Great hotel in the city centre of Hamburg. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was delicious. I particularly appreciated the custom made omelette. The pool area and sauna were also very nice. The only downside was that we booked 2 double beds with the expectation they'd be king-size. They were queen-size though. I wish the hotel would have made that clearer when booking.

Really good for family

getaway weekend to Hamborg and choose to stay at Marriot Hotel which we didn’t regret. Breakfast and dinner ( 3 courses) was included which was convenient for us with kids. When we check in they told us that kids was not included for breakfast and dinner which didn’t make sense for us as we did booking for 2 adults and 2 kids so we are expecting that kids has access to same stuff like us. The stuff fixed straight away and we had really nice experience. For the first dinner the restaurant has planned 3 courses for us and kids and second day we could pick by us self from menu as we didn’t want to eat the same like yesterday. We had really nice service from Arian. The pool area was okay but we missed stuff around to take care of guests and make sure that all visitors followed the hygienic rules.

Very well located and comfortable. Great pool. The Stadtbakerei across the Gansemarkt is an excellent and economical breakfast venue. Servicing of the room was a bit erratic.

I've spent 3.5 months in Hamburg, due to needed documentation and this is the 6th hotel in that time, as well as the best from those. Very large and bright rooms. I swam laps in the pool almost daily. Excellent and central location. Lots of stores, close to the train station, as well as everything in town. Walk to the Alster.

Pool closed for maintenance 😫

The pool was closed for maintenance and this was only communicated a few days before arrival. We were offered to use the pool at a hotel few minutes away which was fine but having to walk with clothes etc in the rain was irritating. The hotel should have informed us much longer in advance so we had the option of cancelling and choosing a different hotel

At the checkin the reception simply charged my credit card streight 100€ and 50€ over the room rate without telling me about it. And when I say they took it, I mean they took it, because they have not reserved the funds from the card, they have taken it streight out of my account, without telling me.The aircon in the room didn´t work and the room was very warm. In the shower the to short showerhose was equipped with a 2$ water-saver, the water pressure was so low, that it took 30 minutes to realy take a sufficient shower with a 10$ shower head. I booked the room over internet with the option for breakfast, at checkin I stated that I do not need beakfast, because I had sheduled meeting in the morning. I have not checked out and I received an invoice incl. breakfast.I had to extend my stay for another day and I told the reception about my problems, the reception has been very kind, but they told me we cant do anthing bout it and they cannot change the ivoice, nor to pay me the overpaid funds back, which is completely inacceptable. But that is not the icepeak, in the evening I checked my accounts and the hotel has overcharged me again. After asking the reception, because nobody has informed me about any additional charges, that they reserve 50€ per night on the creditcard for any additional charges? But they have not reseved it, they took it from my bank account.Breakfast story, on the third day I ordered breakfast, well after 45 min waiting no breakfast, but I had to pay!
