Good hotel located 10min walk from Hamburg central station. A big thanks to Mary who works with the breakfast hostesses and hosts. She had such a nice and lovely energy that was contagious to everyone in the room. Also a big thanks to Azad who works as a breakfast host. What was a little less good was that the people working at the reception were not very good at English. Called the hotel three times before my stay when I needed help. Then two out of three times the staff hung up because they didn't understand what I said in English. In addition, I had chosen on the button that I wanted to speak English. I must also add that the breakfast hosts and hostesses were much better at English than many of those working at the reception. If I had to wish for one thing that I was missing in the room, it would be a shoehorn. Otherwise we were very happy with the hotel.

Nice hotel

Really nice hotel. The rooms were all clean and modern. The bed was a little uncomfortable (very firm) but not too bad. The shower room was clean and modern. The shower only gave us hot water once and then it varied from luke warm to cold (this was the only slight downfall to the hotel), maybe they were having a few problems that week. The breakfast had a good variety and was delicious. The location was a short walk from the centre and train station so again very good.

We had a single nights stay with our son who has a severe peanut allergy. It happened to be a long weekend so the entire hotel was really busy which was very evident at breakfast time. However, despite the very busy breakfast area a member of staff from the kitchen Marita was amazing. She assisted us in identifying safe foods, for us the allergen menu folder from the kitchen we were able to keep with us to check everything ourselves and she even got us a bowl of strawberry jam from the kitchen to avoid any cross contamination. And despite being in and out from the kitchen she took the time to keep checking on us and met our son and was so wonderful! So thank you for everything! It made all the difference for us.

Friendly receptionist on arrival but was made to wait before we could check in. The family room was cramped where we couldn't even use the chair as it was trapped between the pull out sofa bed and the desk. We couldn't even get to the window because of this without climbing over the sofa bed. The pillows were not very comfortable but the bed was. The lighting was not very well thought out. Other than this it is a nice modern hotel with breakfast included. Not a huge range of food but was sufficient. Was told that breakfast finish at 11 am but during the weekdays I noticed they closed earlier. Was not particularly pleased with the cleaning staff harassing us on our last day. They knocked on our door several times and when I checked with them what the check out time was they still returned before check out to see if we were done. My son has medical issues and did not appreciate being rushed. The hotel is close to a supermarket but other than that it is a bit of a distance away from everything so expect a lot of walking!

Good choice if your looking for site seeing trip

Lovely modern hotel which was clean and close enough to the city centre (10 minute walk) breakfast was good if you want continental, cereal or fruit. Disappointed with hot breakfast. crispy/fat bacon that looked like it has been recooked 5 times, cold scrambled egg, no tomato or mushrooms. Apart from that no other negatives.
