Very nice old family owned hotel. Lovely breakfast, helpful staff, a wonderful wine cellar/retaurant (not due to exclusive wines but the staff, atmosphere, and small dishes). Unfortunately the roof top bar was closed and the room had no ac but a standing fan.

Baseler Hof review

I had a really great stay at the Baseler Hof. It is in a central location, about 200 yards from the U bahn stop and a great place to base yourself while exploring Hamburg. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, my room was really clean and comfortable. The restaurant was good too, friendly staff and great food. I would definitely stay here if I come to Hamburg again.

Nice Hotel in a Great Area

The Hotel Baseler Hof is a nice German hotel in a great area. The rooms are small but comfortable, but the rooms of those in my party lacked modern conveniences such as irons, coffee machines or air conditioners or fans.
