Everything was fine with the room. It's a little bit small (not much space between the bed and the wall and the bathroom door can't open fully). But we only stayed one night so it was absolutely adequate. Location is great. Secure undercover parking for only 6 euro is very reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A minimal room with the utilities you need, nothing more, nothing less - honestly when you're just travelling that is all you need. The breakfast was very nice.

Fantastic location if you are in Hamburg for St Pauli neighbourhood, football, Reeperbahn or waterfront... however the rooms are painfully small and almost un-navigable if you are not petite. Room was stuffy, cramped

Functional Stay

Hotel was ok. Room was very small no facilities like tea or coffee. Service could be improved had to wait at Reception despite staff coming in and out of back office. I would describe as practical rather then welcoming. Had breakfast one day limited options pricey at 13 euros.

Not as expected

Not up to the usual Ibis standard. Extremely small room, there was nowhere to place the baggage and I had more or less to walk sideways to pass the bed. Nowhere to sit and work. Window stained. They forgot to make up the bed. No bar at the hotel. Some people at the reception had the "couldn´t care less" attitude. No-one at reception on arrival - long wait. Didn´t use the breakfast facility so cannot comment. On the positive side, the internet was ok.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Sehenswürdigkeiten und Cafés usw. sind fussläufig gut zu erreichen und man ist auch sehr schnell am Hafen. Zudem war unser Zimmer sehr sauber und die Betten ganz bequem. Was uns leider nicht so gut gefallen hat war, dass die Zimmer sehr klein waren, es keinen Schrank für die Kleidung gab (nur 4 Kleiderbügel an einer Garderobe) und nur schmale Gitterregale, wo alles heraus gefallen ist. Am ärgerlichsten war die Tatsache, dass ich Monate zuvor die Zimmer gebucht habe - ZUM HINTERHOF - und am Ankunftstag die Aussage kam, dass alle belegt seien und nur noch Zimmer zur Straße hin frei wären. Ich habe also das teurere Zimmer (zum Hinterhof) bezahlt und habe aber das günstigere, lautere Zimmer zur Straße raus bekommen. Es kam nur ein „Sorry“ und 1 Frühstück for free. Wir waren aber zu 4 Personen! Also haben nichtmal alle ein Frühstück umsonst bekommen! Das geht absolut nicht. Wir mussten dann das Zimmer nehmen, weil ja nichts anderes mehr frei war & man nicht im Urlaub noch spontan ein anderes Hotel sucht & bucht. Wir kommen nicht mehr in dieses Hotel.

Lage zur U-Bahn top. Von dort nicht weit zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten, sind nur ein past Stationen. Trotz Strasse vor der Tür, hört man bei geschlossenen Fenstern nichts davon. Zimmer klein, waren aber nur zum Schlafen da, dafür reichts. Haben ohne Frühstück gebucht, können dazu also nichts sagen.

Die Zimmer sind wirklich sehr sehr klein. Mit 2 Personen ist es sehr eng. Hervorzuheben ist, separates Bad und Toilette. Wir hatten das Pech, dass die Klimaanlage nicht funktionierte. Habe dies aber an der Rezeption angesprochen und wir konnten direkt ein neues Zimmer beziehen.
