From the moment I checked in, and found I had left my mobile in the taxi, the staff were wonderful. The hotel is in a quiet area (I stayed over the weekend) but within walking distance of Hamburg’s wonderful public transport system and close to the Rathaus (15 minutes walk). Breakfast (included) was good, varied and catered to most tastes - not sure about the organic cornflakes though. As I travelled by myself, I would have liked an evening food option at the hotel but plenty of alternatives nearby. I elected for a late check out - 4pm - which was a very reasonable €20.

Joke of a privacy policy

I’ve never been more angry at a hotel. The person at reception “Jon” not only gave my friends my room number, when I wanted to be left alone, but also gave them a key card to my room. I’m pretty sure this is illegal, at the very least a breach of their privacy policy. I wasn’t answering for a reason and wanted to be left alone, and yet, whilst in the bath, someone comes into my room. The security is disgusting.

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig. Gleich in der Nähe der U-Bahn-Station Gänsemarkt. Nur eine Station vom Jungfernstieg/Rathaus entfernt. Kann man aber auch gut zu Fuß laufen. Zimmer sehr sauber und neuwertig, Personal und Service alles bestens. Zu empfehlen.

Sehr gut gelegen (Eingang zur U-Bahn Gänsemarkt in unmittelbarer Nähe, 10min Fußweg zur Innenalster/Jungfernsteig) und trotzdem ruhig. Sehr saubere und geräumige Zimmer. Sehr gutes Frühstück mit großer Auswahl (auch laktosefreie / glutenfreie Angebote, auch dunkles Brot, wie man es aus Skandinavien kennt). Nette Sauna (1x gemischt, 1x Damen only). Abends netter Barbereich. Nachteil: Frühstück vergleichsweise teuer, Klimaanlage im Zimmer kann nicht abgestellt werden und auch im Frühstücksraum wird eher zu stark klimatisiert.

Gebucht haben wir eine Junior Suite. Die Suiten befinden sich im 8. Obergeschoss und verfügen über einen eigenen living room, indem tagsüber Snacks und Getränke kostenfrei zur Verfügsung stehen. Auch das Frühstück wird dort serviert. Man muss nicht im Erdgeschoss im Frühstücksbereich essen und hat zum einen einen tollen Ausblick über die Stadt und auch eine ruhigere Atmosphäre, tolle sehr großzügige Zimmer, topmodern, tolle Betten, modernes Bad, super freundlicher Service im Hotel, Parkgebühr fürs Auto: 33 Euro pro Tag, zu Fuß in nur wenigen Minuten zur Binnenalster und zur Mönckebergstraße. sehr zu empfehlen! Top Hotel!

Sehr zufrieden mit dem Zimmer, Bad und der Sauna im Fitnessbereich. Aber das Highlight war das Frühstück - fantastische Auswahl (mit vielen veganen Optionen) und Qualität. Ich kann das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.
