The staff were so friendly and welcoming, we felt really comfortable here straight away. Debra checked us in and was so sweet, it really made our night. The location is great and the room was clean and well equipped. Thank you!

Beware travelers! My booking was prepaid weeks before through expedia and yet they charged me a $250 "damage deposit" when i arrived. When i checked out they said it was a pre-authorization and my card wasnt charged. NOT TRUE! I was charged and i still havent received my credit! They won't return my calls when they say they will and when i call back they leave me on hold forever and then just hang up! Totally incompetent staff! Never again!

We understand that you are upset at the thought of having been charged, however, you have not been charged. The pre-authorization was cancelled on the day you checked out(Oct. 8). No charges were made to your credit card by our hotel. Depending on the credit card company, a cancelled pre-authorization can take a few days to be processed. You were informed of this when you called. You may want to check with your credit card company as to its procedures.
The adjoining rooms on either side of 103 had quite a bit of noise and loud talking. Will be looking elsewhere on our next trip to Simcoe.

Good experience, rooms were clean. Bit of mold in the bathroom im presuming because the bathroom fan wasnt working. Front desk was helpful. Free muffins, yogurt, granola bars and apples in the morning.

Our room was on the ground floor which is like a basement as the hotel is on a slope so the second floor is the main floor, it did feel like a basement to, we were only there one night so didn’t ask to be changed to a higher floor. The bed was ok the pillows were awful totally flat, the room was quite dusty.

We liked the bed, the washroom layout, the shower and especially liked the quality and price of the breakfast. We also liked the location. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel is dated and doesn’t have a working bar which would have been nice. Also room cleaning was very haphazard — bed half made and water on the bathroom floor.
