"The Hotel Allegory is a gem if you are looking for unique lodging inside the Old City of Rhodes. From the moment we arrived we felt Rhodian hospitality and warmth. The staff especially Konstantina went out of their way to be helpful and kind. From assisting us with our luggage on the cobbled roads of Rhodes (you can't drive into the old city but the hotel will help you plan arrival and departure), to the special Rhodian sesame treat and cold prosecco that awaited us when we arrived, to the delicious included Greek breakfast, you feel so cared for. The rooms are unique and beautiful. I booked the last room I could find that had space for our daughter to stay with us and we lucked out with a hammam steam shower and deep oaking tub I was not expecting...but after a month long trip of exploring dusty ruins and lots of travel logistics, we sure made use of it! :) The bed was also super comfortable with high end linens. They have thought of all those little details that set a hotel stay apart. The Allegory is located in a quieter, more residential end of the Old City as well which made for good sleeping. Believe me, as we were wandering around town during the World Cup and hearing all the partiers, I was VERY glad we weren't staying closer to that area where the nightlife is crazy. You're a close walk to the action but not right in it. I highly recommend Allegory Hotel and send our thanks to Konstantina and her team for an unforgettable stay in Rhodes."
