"Booked only one night. But wished we had stayed longer. Had stayed at a poor Inn in Smiths Cove Nova Scotia the previous 3 nights and were really pleased with our stay at the Chateau St John. What a difference. Breakfast was great albeit a bit canteen like but was of no concern for us. The food and choice were good. Staff were really helpful and we actually felt like a guest. Excellent. Thank you. Would highly recommend it as a convenient place to stay. Appeared well managed with staff who took pride in their work."

"The property was in a convenient location for us and easy to get to. It was clean and spacious. There was a minor issue with the small refrigerator but the host communicated with us about it and it didn’t affect our plans. The view from the apartment out to the lake is beautiful and the icing on the cake was a tableaux of deer on the lawn in the morning sun. Because of a wedding and pre-wedding party we attended during our stay, we did not spend as much time enjoying the rental as we might have liked. Maybe next time!"
