"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Ocracoke property. The home was clean, quiet, and nicely appointed, with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. "What I didn’t like was that I was charged $200 for amenities- things we didn’t even use- internet was $25 a day- we didn’t sign on but were still charged- in today’s day and age I don’t consider internet an Ammenity! The actual u it was great other than the very steep stairs! Really should somehow let people know about that- had 3 people 70 and older!"

"Surprising little place to Stay. Very reasonable for Summer stay. Going into 4th of July. All the Staff were Friendly & Helpful. Nice little place to get supplies for the Beach. Loved that beach bike could be Rented right there. The boardwalk is perfect . Also great & Popular Mexican restaurant was right there. We will stay here Again."

"Room layout was interesting, but somewhat of a maze. Upholstered furniture was very nice, however some of the cabinetry was showing some 'wear and tear'. In the 1-bedroom kitchenette, there were no eating utensils, so we were constantly running between kitchens for cooking equipment and utensils. The amenities were very nice (very clean), and the grandkids had a good time in the pool, arcade, miniature golf, etc. Our total experience was good. Staff who gave us orientation info at the front desk were very nice, however, I would encourage printed handouts for reference once you leave. When I made the initial reservation, it was for 7 days (Sat thru Sat). I was very pleased that we found something that met our needs - 2 units with 3 bedrooms each. A week or two later, I received a text from the host informing me that my reservation was canceled. However, there appeared to be an option available that would provide 2 units, one for 7 days, the other for only 6 days. This was offered as a feasible option. But we could not divide my family, with some staying and some being forced to leave a day early. In over 50 years of making reservations at numerous hotel chains, I've never had this experience after a reservation was made. An offer was finally made for a 6-day reservation for both units (with a refund), and I accepted. The host then stated that this arrangement would need confirmation. 4 days before we left home, the arrangements were finally confirmed."
