"The manager and worker were very sweet and we loved the look of the property/the rooms but we were disappointed when I couldn't get my toilet to flush (it finally did but then the water ran the entire time), the hot water to work or electricity to be reliable. Also, as nice as the staff was, they spoke no English at all which was difficult. If it wasn't for my broken Arabic, it would have been impossible to communicate with them. "

"Arrived in heat if afternoon but no one available. Hidden in labyrinth of alleys and tunnels. Small dark room mezzanine level. Hard to know if it was clean or not. Very dim. Don’t expect everything to work eg a/c or shower. The intimacy of a Riad means you hear everything happening throughout the house during the night at 2 or 4 am. Bring earplugs.French or Arabic only. No English. tourist tax charge amount was random, I’m sure the ladies try their best. "

"We had high expectations of our stay at the chateau. Unfortunately we were not allowed to check in. The reservation, which I had prepaid, was not honored. "Service was inexperienced but very kind. Heating and cooling of rooms was turned off so the room was very hot. Lots of mosquitos but no screens. Finally they double charged us for the room and have refused to refund it, which is ridiculous and we will have to go through VISA to block charge "
