About this property

A character bach within walking distance to Hanmer Springs

  • A three bedroom bach, close to Hanmer Springs town centre. Sit in front of the wood fire in winter, or on the expansive deck in Summer.

    With an open plan kitchen, dining, living area, this cozy bach has everything you need for a few days away in the alpine village of Hanmer Springs. All three bedrooms are upstairs with a queen bed in the large master bedroom, two singles in the second room, and a single over double bunk in the third room. You will need to bring your own linen and towels.

    Outside there is plenty of room for the kids to play and explore, while the deck has out door furniture with all day sun. The verandah covering the entry way means BBQ'ing isn't hampered by the rain.

    The thermal pools and the center of town are 1.1km away (a 13min walk or 3 min drive). We have had the bach when we had a 3 year old and she could walk it with no issues.

    Come enjoy some time away from the day to day grind in the tranquility of Hanmer Springs.

We had an amazing stay! The property was cozy, fireplace was fantastic, and the hosts were great and quick communicators. We loved sitting out on the table in the garden! Everything we needed was provided, making for a comfortable getaway. Highly recommend!

very good value for you money. Enough room to house 7 friends who had a great time. Plenty of wood for fireplace and was warm with fire going. Also good backyard with nice big outdoor table. Close to town considering the price too.
