Hotel going through a few upgrades which is great to see. The restaurant Isobel for dinner was amazing! Great food. Breakfast wasn’t as varied, only option was continental. Would have like to have more options for TV/movies in the room. However, it a great location and staff were very friendly.

Travelling with a newborn had everything we needed. They had received our cot request and acknowledged at check-in, but wasn’t set up in the room, which is only a minor downside to what was overall a good experience. The breakfast is pancakes, pastries, fruit, cereal, juice, drinks and the price reflects the fact there’s no hot breakfast.

The room was well heated. An extra chair in the room would have been wonderful. When I booked the room the photos on the website showed the room that I had booked had a shower stall. But we ended up with a bath tub with a shower attached to the wall.

Great location. Some staff were lovely, others just doing their job, didn't really want to be there. No lift, had to lug bags upstairs, no offers of help. Noisy room due to luggage being dragged upstairs. Restaurant and staff fabulous
