Great central hotel
Lovely hotel within walking distance to old town centre, shopping and restaurants. Staff were approachable and friendly. Close to main train station

Decent for the price
The room was fairly spacious and adequately equipped, including a small safe. No mini bar, but that's not a problem as articles tend to be hugely overpriced anyway. Although the room was facing an inner yard, it was fairly noisy: we could feel the vibrations of what was probably trains passing through nearby central station. We booked a room with a double bed but were instead given one with two adjoining single beds, which was a bit of a let down. The mattresses felt cheap and worn out. Buffet style breakfast was great! All in all, a decent stay for the price.

The most stupidest thing ever was a damn pillar in the middle of the room which blocked the way to the bathroom so you had to climb over the bed or slide between the desk and pillar in order to get to the bathroom ....they had one job .....

Good location and excellent breakfast but would not recommend the rooms. We were supposed to have a suite, but everything was crammed into the bed room: desk, TV, a non working mini bar. The "living room" had only a small sofa and some decorations. A shame.

No A/C, the hotel was noisy with people making noise all night inside and outside of the hotel. Due to the lack of A/C the windows were open and the noise outside made it impossible to sleep. Music for bars blasting all night. Waste of money, will never go back.

Nice hotel close to central station.
Room simple but very thought out and decor very nice. Beds comfortable. The fella at the desk was so friendly and nice. Would definitely stay there again great value for money. Easy walk from central station.

Once you are out of the train station this hotel is just up half a block, a turn left and at the end of the next block. Breakfast is expensive at €15 but it is convenient to have it at hotel when you don’t know other restaurants are

Average hotel close to the central station
Every time I travel to Hannover I stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel which is an excellent hotel in Hannover close to the centre. This time I decided to visit the CeMAT exhibition 2 weeks before hand and it was impossible to find a room there. I finally found the Hotel Plaza which is also very close by. Unfortunately I must have paid at least 6 times their normal rate and anyway more than I ever paid at the Crowne Plaza. I arrived at 2pm and was told that the room was not ready yet. I waited till 2:50pm until I was given the key room. Much to my surprise, the room was very basic without any air conditionning and refrigerator ! I had to open the windows to get some fresh air and all the noise coming fromthe elevated road a few meters away ! Will not recommend it to any friend !!!

There is no door on the bathroom. ok for solo traveler but not if traveling with others. i.e. family or friends. After slipping in the shower & breaking my wrist I tried to speak to the manager who completely ignored me. Refused my request for a taxi to the airport. I was only able to speak to the receptionist, and had to make my own way to the airport. 0 stars

Really convenient for Hannover Hauptbahnhof
Used the hotel as a base for lower Niedersachsen and Hannover itself. Its location near the outstanding facilities of the Hannover main train station made it perfect for this purpose; yet it was also an easy walk to the city centre and its main sites. The hotel reception staff were all friendly and made me feel very welcome, despite my attempt to converse in pretty limited German. My only criticism of the hotel is the access arrangements for pedestrians, which were often blocked by cars parked outside.

Conveniently Located Hotel With Good Breakfast
Breakfast was excellent. WiFi a bit slow, but ok. Location excellent. Single room size ok, but a bit small, especially for 100 Euros. Hotel staff friendly, courteous and hard working. I learned that I could use the fitness center close by and that helped in making a decision in staying there again.

Very difficult to sleep with noise
Paid top dollar, got clean small room, small towels ( smallest i have ever seen in developed world ), plus only got a single bed for this price. I specifically asked for a quiet room, i was given a room over looking smoking area for Cinema / night club, for 3 of the four nights it was very difficult to sleep because of noise. If you are booking, insist on room looking out at Fernroder Strabe, not Hauptbanhof Hotel is in central location beside train station, staff were nice and Breakfast Buffet was good
