Staff were really friendly and helpful, for example the concierge gave us advice around puppet show tickets and then got us some amazing tickets. When we said one of our rooms didn’t have black out blinds the hotel fitted some for us. But the pool was a bit grimy and there was a bit of a smell from the lake. This might have been due to the heavy rain the whole time we were there.

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at InterContinental Hanoi Westlake. The hotel is beautifully located over the lake, offering peaceful views and a relaxing atmosphere away from the busy city. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional, making the stay feel effortless from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi.
