"The resort is maintained well with the dedicated work of housekeeping who I often observed cleaning and picking up empty drinks. I didn't have any complaints. The check-in process was quick and painless. The food was also tasty...I highly recommend the wings at the sports bar."

"Amenities, lounge and staff were great. The lounge was fun in the evening after a long day of eine tasting and exploring. The staff lit the firepit in the morning while we enjoyed our coffee which was very kind! Room was clean and in a nice safe location with some good restaurants and breakfast spots a short jump away. Couple of drawbacks: 1- everyone with a courtyard room can be heard from other rooms with patio door open. 2. Lighting is a bit dark. 3. There are not enough mirrors for a shared room with multiple girlfriends. We will definitely be back!!!"

"We stayed at the Wine Valley Inn last year and enjoyed it very much. Our room was large, with a large walk in shower and a little patio. The breakfast was generous and highlighted by wonderful Danish parties. No Danish this year, apparently too expensive. Breakfast was spartan. This year, we had a small room facing the parking lot, where, twice, someone’s car alarm went off. The bathroom was small, the only refrigerator in the room was the honor bar with little room for anything else. The worst part was the people in the unit above us must have been washing clothes or something in the bathtub, because the water would turn on for a minute or two and, unlike when showering, go full blast,sounding like a jet engine. This went on for over an hour until well after 10 pm. On two minutes, off maybe five minutes. There is clearly some problem with the plumbing to be so loud and no insulation between ceilings. It was a truly miserable night. Solvang is a delightful place, but we won’t stay at Wine Valley Inn again."

"The included breakfast buffet offered the same fare as at other Hampton Inn locations with a wide variety of options including pre-made mini omelets, sausage/bacon, hot cereal, a self-serve waffle maker, baked goods, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. However, some breakfast items needed replenishing, particularly the bagels and muffins. The dining area was spacious, clean and comfortable. Our room was spacious and quiet, and the beds and pillows were quite comfortable. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable and a good value for the money."
