"The lodge is right on the ocean and has a great view. There is a substantial amount of dirt work being done right now which made us wonder if we were in the right spot when trying to locate it. However, the lodge has a nice deck with chairs which were a great vantage point to enjoy the ocean. The owner was on site and offered use of a side by side to take down the beach to a waterfall near by. There is a continental breakfast on site daily. "Do use this facility. Host forgot/thought i cancelled. Ck in is 3pm. Called host since no ck instructions sent she did not respond. I called host she said 2 things to me i thouhht you were coming tomorrow, next comment, i thought you cancelled. We made arrangements (since she was not home) to ck in at 6pm got there at 645 she was still not there... called her again she asked could we please go to dinner. So i ended up taking all 6 family members out. Finished dinner 1.25 hours later she still...

"We loved our stay at Redoubt Retreat. We stay in a lot of vacation rentals and this one was by far in the top 2 all time favorites! Jennifer has clearly put a lot of time and effort into it. I’ve seen a lot of places more expensive and 1/2 as nice. This one was worth every penny and we will definitely be back again!"

Perfect!
"I have stayed here several times for solo work trips and brought my husband along with me this time around. Everything was just as perfect as always and he was as blown away with the accommodations as I was the first time I stayed. We stayed in Bear Den and it could not have been more quiet, serene and comfortable. And the views are spectacular! Especially enjoyed grilling out a couple of nights to break up the cycle of eating out when traveling. Can't recommend this place enough! "
