"Be careful - they automatically charge you 5% service charge (tip) on leaving unless you tell them not to. They don’t tell you about this, it’s only mentioned in t & c’s. Also was told they couldn’t check me in without photo id. Stayed there twice now. This was view from room. Won’t be returning "

"The hotel was ok, cheap for a 2 night stay in manchester, it was just make do. The 3 day visit to manchester city was great, and it was just a place to sleep for the 2 nights. The hotel location was also easy to get taxis from the hotel to the city, they arrived very quickly and got us to our destination "

"We were staying in Manchester for a concert at the AO arena. The hotel was in an excellent central location. Rooms were lovely and clean, staff were friendly and the bar lovely. The only downside was the breakfast. There was hardly anything left on the hot buffet when we ate at 9am and they were very slow at replacing items, if at all. There was also not cold water available. Given the price that was charged for breakfast, I was hugely disappointed. That said, I would stay at the hotel again, just not for breakfast."
