"The interior of this condo had been renovated with good taste, very clean, decorated real nicely, everything worked well, air conditioning system kept rooms cool day and night. The beach view was definitely enjoyed. The young man who checked us in was very polite and informative. Also, the owner did a good job answering any questions regardless of time of day or night. I would rate the interior as EXCELLENT and well as the owner communicating with response. However, the exterior of the condo at Villa de Sol was definitely ruined down and had not been maintained in years. There were plywood panels nailed in areas, rotten flooring and railing on upper walkways. On our stairwell to get to third floor it was lit with trouble lights plugged into extension cords going from ground level to third floor. The parking lot we had to park in, which was not the covered one was not lit with any working lights. We did not use the elevator because we were afraid it would malfunction, as it looked questionable. That forced us (71 & 78 year old people) to carry our luggage and supplies up three flights of stairs. This property was listed as under renovation, but we saw no working crews other than a couple of painters. Exterior I would rate as poor and dangerous for guests."
