"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The double queen room was perfect for 3 people to share. It was spacious and cozy. Our balcony faced the highway, which was fine, and we enjoyed feeling that ocean breeze. The 2 staff that I encountered at the front desk during check in and check out were friendly and accommodating. Parking was great, plenty of space during the weekday. Location couldn't be better to access Fort Macon and Emerald Isle. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores close by. The pool by far was the best amenity. It was quiet and peaceful after 4pm for a few hours of swimming and relaxation. We enjoyed the boardwalk over the marsh and the beautiful view of the sound."
