"I had specifically chosen this property because it had the Bistro because I was traveling with my parents who are in their 80’s. I figured it would be better for them to not have to get in and out of car for dinner and breakfast. When we checked in a sign was posted that Bistro was closed because someone called in sick. When I mentioned my disappointment the front desk attendant did apologize. The next morning when I went down to get coffee their was a lovely young lady giving out coffee free of charge because the kitchen was closed again due to someone calling out and she told me she didn’t have keys to open any rooms that had the food in it for easy to grab food. I went to front desk to ask about local places to get breakfast for my parents and the gentleman at front desk shrugged his shoulders and recommended Dunkin. Zero effort to try and help me find someplace close by and easy to get to with my parents. The rooms were lovely and clean but just disappointed in staffs willingness to even help recommend options. "

"The lobby was very nice as well as the staff and complimentary items. Our room was a King Size room. It had a weird smell, stains on the carpet, scratches on the panel where the desk is, toliet paper holder was falling off the wall with wall paper hanging off. The sink squirted all over the place. The temperature in the room was hard to get below 77. Had to turn the AC on to 66 to get it down to at leastb75. The bed was somewhat comfortable and the breakfast was good. The sheets and blanket reaked of bleach. It has really good potential if the rooms were taken care of a bit more."

"Clean room. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was typical. Pool and hot tub were amazing. Needs some W fixing w the pool steps but nice. "

"I am very happy with my stay !! From the front desk to check out jade was so nice and helped and answered all my questions she made it so easy and comfortable!! The room what can I say very clean and beautiful ! The bed omg best sleep I have had in years !! I did not want to get up for breakfast lol will be back soon !!! Thank you guys "

"We loved our stay. The house is rustic, yet modern with everything we needed. The host was very responsive when had an issue with the remote in the media/game room, and had a new remote delivered promptly. We would definitely stay here again if visiting the Poconos. "
