The cabin is clean and cozy, the area is beautiful and the check-in process could not have been easier. We stayed one night on our long drive ... Wish we could have stayed longer!
Tony’s cabin was exactly what we needed for few days of remote work in West Virginia. The check in process was easy and the house was stocked with the standard necessities for a short term rental. We definitely recommend and we will try to return in the near future
Had a great stay at this cozy place in the woods. Tastefully decorated and very clean. An added plus is being pet friendly!! We enjoyed the deer and baby fawn who came to see us twice a day. Only a few minutes to historic Harper’s Ferry with plenty to do. Will definitely return in the future.
Great home base for a Harper's Ferry weekend. Quiet neighborhood. Clean place.
Host could have communicated a little less (last minute additional night offers were a little too last minute).
We spent our anniversary weekend here and it was great. It’s a very private little cabin with a nice deck and hot tub, and we loved using the grill on the deck as well. Didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit due to a burn notice, but it looks like a great setup.
It’s a bit of a haiku to get groceriies, so come prepared. Very convenient to Harper’s ferry national historic park and all the hiking and history available there.
The property manager was communicative and responsive. The pictures are accurate. Winding roads but close to Harper’s ferry and the national park. The hot tub is easy to use. There’s a yard for our dog to run around on. There was an ant problem in the kitchen and the lock to the back door was jammed so we did feel a bit unsafe.
Communication with the host was perfect from day one. Super fast to respond and very pleasant.
The house was incredibly comfortable and very tastefully designed. The fireplace is one of the prettiest I’ve seen. The bedrooms were spacious and the outside space was gorgeous.
I would highly recommend the house and the host!
This is a very charming and cozy house on private property. Very clean and comfortable. Close to lower town and restaurants. Also, conveniently located to the hiking trails. We really enjoyed hot tub after long day of activities. One of the highlights was bird watching in the morning while drinking coffee on the patio. Tony was a great host. He always responded immediately and checked with us daily making sure that we have everything we need. I would definitely stay here again and recommend the property to my friends. Thank you Tony for your hospitality and attention to details.
My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the charming “Meadowlark Chalet” in Harper’s Ferry. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a memorable retreat.
1. Cozy and Clean: The cabin was immaculate—pristine and inviting. The attention to cleanliness was evident, which put our minds at ease during these times. The tasteful decor added warmth and character to the space.
2. Thoughtful Amenities:
Hot Tub: The highlight of our stay! We soaked in the hot tub surrounded by the trees and listened to the sounds of newly emerging nature in the spring. The kitchen was fully equipped and made cooking breakfast a breeze.
Spacious bedrooms: the master bedroom was spacious enough to fit our XL large dog crate to crate our two medium sized dogs and the bed was a very comfortable memory foam mattress.
Pet-Friendly: Our two dogs explored the wooded property with glee. The cabin’s pet-friendly policy was a huge plus!
3. Serene Wooded Setting: Nestled among trees, the cabin offered seclusion and tranquility. We sipped morning coffee on the porch, listening to birdsong and feeling utterly at peace.
4. Proximity to Attractions:
Harpers Ferry National Historical Park: Just a short drive away, we explored the historic town, hiked the trails, and marveled at the breathtaking views.
All in all, it was a great place to stay. We will definitely be back next year!
Gorgeous cabin, incredibly clean and well stocked with everything needed. Hot tub was amazing and clean and huge. Greatful for the hosts promptness in communication.Thank you!
We had a great stay and the house was perfect for a quick getaway weekend for our family. Close to wineries and explored Harper’s Ferry. Communication with the host Tony was great. We would stay here again!

The house was very clean upon arrival. We enjoyed spending time in the hot tub and playing pool on a kid’s pool table. It was close the Harper’s Ferry. We also saw deer very close both days we were there, and we loved this!!
Great little home within a 15 min drive of the main town of Harper's Ferry. We loved spending time by the fire pit and the hot tub. The property manager was super responsive and we had a great weekend!
The inside appears to be brand new and was adorable had everything we needed. The outside of home could use some work along with making the stairs more accessible for anyone who may have issues with the uneven ground. The neighborhood is literally in the middle of no where and a bit sketchy if you are not used to it. Overall nice property.

Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
The place was clean and nice enough, but it wasn't worth paying 477 a night, which is what I paid. I can see charging that much in the fall when it’s prime time for hiking or even the cooler months. It’s incredibly hot in the place and the AC unit sizes were not equipped for the size of the space. I didn’t even know babies could sweat and she was miserable until the sun went down. However, Tony was lovely and responsive and the hot tub was nice. I just wouldn’t recommend mid summer stay.
only one bathroom is tough. stair steps to downstairs bedroom and television very steep. checkin convoluted (key code had been changed & air conditioners not installed) but owner responded efficiently.
