Quiet waterfront cottage

The cottage is lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the deck, watching the boats and the wildlife (cranes/herons, gulls, ducks, and geese). This is the most peaceful and quiet place we have ever stayed! It is well stocked and very comfortable. Thank you for a great vacation!

Davis getaway

Beautiful Harpswell

Gorgeous location- on a point of land with water on 3 sides. Wonderful porch to hang out on and soak in MAINE. Sweet cottage-well equipped kitchen. Kids loved exploring the waterfront, dock and kayaks. Owners very responsive.

A Little Piece of Paradise

Lovely relaxing stay! Beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces. We spent hours watching wildlife on the spacious comfy porch. Morse’s food truck, less than 5 minutes by car, was a nice surprise and provided many a takeout supper. Swimming off the dock, kayaking, star gazing and just “doing nothing” were the perfect entertainment for all of us!

Peaceful

The place we stayed was very peaceful. We always got up early to catch a beautiful sunrise. A beautiful place to kayak, take walks and have cup of coffee on the back porch. The area was fun to explore - local college museum of art was fantastic and the small shops in the local area as well as Bath. We enjoyed our stay very much - and wished it could have been longer.

Rose Cottage

Beautiful in everyway!! Best place we've stayed at ever. Super clean,comfortable with almost any amenity you could think of. Beautifully decorated and to top it all off a covered porch with a gas fire pits comfy furniture and astounding view. Need I say more?

Don’t Pass This Place Up

Amazing property. Beautifully furnished, well appointed, perfectly clean, and best of all that fabulous covered porch with its fabulous view. We sat out there every morning and evening and enjoyed seeing bald eagles, ospreys, harbor seals, a mother loon teaching her little ones how to fish. Just amazing. If we are ever in this area again, we would definitely like to stay here rather then anywhere else.

Lovely in so many ways

This cottage truly wowed us. It is beautiful and well-made, clean and comfortable with some cozy features, The kitchen has absolutely everything you might need. The porch puts this cottage over the top. It is like another room in the house overlooking this lovely cove. It is well-covered and with comfortable furniture. Enjoy many morning coffees and evening drinks there! And the location is a plus. Easy trips to town or Portland or great areas to the north. Highly recommend.

Best cottage ever

The views, the location, the interior decor was all beyond our expectations. Manager was prompt and friendly with answers. Amenities perfect. We didn't want to leave. Actually, when we first walked in, I told my husband I wasn't leaving. In my mind.... I'm still there. Enjoy!

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage-full of charm and comfort. I loved sitting on the covered deck overlooking the water-watching birds, boats and on the last day a seal!! Check in was incredibly easy as well. Would totally stay at Rose Cottage again!!

Cute cottage in a quiet section of Harpswell. Everything in the cottage was spot on, especially the bedroom and lovely porch. The kitchen was fully outfitted for the cook in our party (me). And, other than a dishwasher hiccup, everything worked perfectly. We would love to stay at Rose Cottage next time we are in Harpswell. Thanks for hosting us!

Merriman Cove - Harpswell

Rose Cottage was simply PERFECT! Incredible views, well appointed both inside and out, beautifully landscaped, great sleeping arrangements... could not ask for a better place! The owners were great, quick to respond to questions, etc. Would highly recommend the Rose Cottage to anyone!

Absolutely Beautiful!

Words can’t describe the beautiful setting of Rose Cottage. Check-in was a breeze, too. The cottage is well appointed and comes equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay. My family of four stayed here for one week and the kids loved the sleeping loft. The covered back deck is a real bonus and comes complete with fire pit, outdoor games and kayaks. We will definitely stay again!

The house was lovely....very nicely decorated and clean with very comfortable beds and the views were great. But fortunately we did not need 3 bedrooms because I don't know how anyone could've used the bedroom in the loft area as the ceiling was so very low it seems like you would have had to crawl on your hands and knees. Other than that, the house was great ....we just want people to be aware of the "third bedroom". There was a huge abundance of kitchen supplies. Be aware that guests are not permitted to use the fireplace or the firepit on the porch. Rosemary was very responsive when I had questions and the neighborhood was great. We would highly recommend it if you only need 2 bedrooms.
