Starlight Cabin in the Ozark Mountains near the Buffalo National River
Come slip away to a serene setting on seven private acres in the picturesque Ozarks. Our rustic cedar cabin with pine interior is the perfect respite from the stress of everyday living. Starlight Cabin offers a full kitchen (apartment size stove, refrigerator, and microwave) and pantry stocked with essentials such as coffee and coffee filters, sugar, flour, salt & pepper, vegetable and coconut oils for cooking, mustard, ketchup, bottled water, napkins, paper towels, and foil. Dishes and pots and pans are provided. There is a wonderful large deck with a charcoal grill and outdoor dining furniture. After exploring the area, come back to the cabin and prepare dinner on the grill and enjoy dining under the stars. Take in the incredible clear night sky. View the Milky Way while relaxing on the deck. A queen size memory foam bed awaits you in the loft and the soft glow of a Himalayan salt lamp sets the stage for respite and rejuvenation. A queen size sleeper sofa in the living area offers a restful night's sleep. Luxurious high thread count sheets are furnished for your comfort. The bathroom has a pedestal sink and large circular shower with soft and absorbent Turkish towels. A hair dryer is provided. Small batch, organic handmade soap made on the farm is supplied. The living area has a small TV and DVD player. The TV will pick up local public broadcasting channels. A writing desk situated in a little nook provides views of the pasture and woods.
Please note that cell service can be spotty at the cabin. AT&T and Verizon have strong signals. I have received mixed reviews for T-Mobile - some guests do have limited access, others have none. As far as Sprint and US Cellular, I've been told that there is no access. I would assume that all other carriers have limited or no service at the cabin.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The cabin truly felt like home after having a long day of adventures. All of the small details and thoughtfulness put into this cabin added so much charm and warmth. We couldn't see the stars due to all the rain and clouds over the weekend, but the view was breathtaking. The farm fresh eggs and snacks that were provided made the experience so special. We can't wait to come back and make more memories!
Would welcome an opportunity to stay at Starlight Cabin again. The cabin was delightful, well- equipped, quiet at night and greeted by a rooster in the morning, special welcoming and personal touches made us feel right at home. Laura communicated quickly and warmly. Lovely spot.
The cabin was so beautiful and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked so we could make dinners. The view of the property was lovely. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a pleasant peaceful place to spend a long weekend.
Wonderful host! This is a quaint & rustic cabin stocked with everything we needed. We slept so comfortable in the loft and our boys had so much fun there. My favorite t
time was morning coffee and watching the sunrise from the deck.
Peace and quiet is the attraction here. The cabin is nicely laid out and decorated. A great place to view the stars. The river is close by but expect a little drive to get to things like groceries or eating places. The nearby towns have a lot of unique shops. Overall this has been one of my favorite stays and I’d definitely stay there again.
What a charming and convenient retreat to enjoy all the magic of the lower Buffalo River. From the fresh eggs leads by the hosts’ hens to the nighttime glory on the deck to stargaze and listen to the summer critter chorus, Satight Cabin is a real treat!
This place is awesome! The owners were very accommodating and provided everything we needed. The cabin was so clean and private. We loved our getaway to the Buffalo River!
We really loved our stay in the Starlight Cabin. The cabin was clean and cozy with an incredible view of rolling Ozark hills. The extensive deck with multiple amenities made a perfect platform for all kinds of family fun. For a comfy stay near the Buffalo Rec Area on the Buffallo River the Starlight Cabin cannot be beat!
Everything was exceptional! The owners are not just “owners”, Laura truly takes time to be an excellent host! The location is serene, the cabin was very clean and there were so many personal touches when we arrived! We’d love to visit again.
The Cabin is So Lovely !
My experience there was Profound !
Beautiful surroundings and close to the River.
I Really enjoyed the entire Weekend.
Many Thanks to Laura & Miles
for Sharing their Cabin and the special Touches !
I’ve stayed in plenty of privately owned rentals and a variety of hotels and this one was the cleanest I’ve stayed in! It is in a quiet place but not too far off the beaten path. It was the perfect weekend getaway before school started back. I definitely look forward to coming back!
Laura and Miles were by far the best hosts that we have ever had the pleasure of staying with. The cabin was clean, very well appointed done to the farm fresh eggs and watermelon. Every detail was well thought out and orchestrated. The bed and linens were top notch, just like being at home. The deck was welcoming and grilling was made easy with all the needed tools provided. Wish I could have given it 10 because that’s what it deserves. We highly recommend staying at this coziest and quaint little piece of heaven.

Fantastic Memorial Day weekend!
My family of three stayed in Starlight Cabin for Memorial Day weekend 2016 and had a fantastic time! The cabin is immaculately clean, well-stocked and cozy enough for two parents and a teenager (or two parents and two children) -- exactly as it appeared in the photos. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings, canoeing and kayaking on the Buffalo River, hiking nearby and a drive-in movie in Marshall. Laura and Miles were incredibly thoughtful hosts -- we can't say enough good things about our stay! We hope to return one day!
Had a wonderful weekend in this magical cabin. There are so many special little touches to make your stay comfortable and special. Beautiful area for hiking and enjoying nature. Enjoyed the evenings eating on deck and watching the fireflies. And at night there were a million stars in the sky with the Milky Way shining bright. Laura the host was great and would highly recommend this special cabin under the stars.

We came to the area because it's known to be free of light pollution and good for star gazing. We assumed we would have to go to a nearby Buffalo River campground to see that. Instead, we were delighted to find there were acres of clearing in front of the cabin's deck which meant we didn't have to go anywhere to spend three nights of enjoying God's creation in the skies.
