"We were in town for the Kentucky Three Day Event and wanted a place to enjoy beautiful Kentucky after a day at the horse park. This cottage was perfect and was a quiet place to retreat to conveniently close to the horse park and good places for dinner. The cottage is clean, the property is beautiful, and the hosts are kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again."

"Definitely a good place to wind down. Woke up on the second morning to several cows and a few calf’s at the fence. I was so excited, but know to respect their space. "The basics on the property were as expected. The snacks were a nice touch and the basics for the property were fine. The TV only had Roku, so any network TV, such as watching the World Series at night, couldn't be done. I've stayed at other VRBOs and they were upfront about the TV channels access. Letting the renters know upfront on the property summary that the TV is only Roku should be done. The property manual on-site is way out of date and held in a broken spiral notebook. It contains...

"Our 2-night stay at Soggy Bottom Cottage couldn't have been more perfect. It's in a lovely quiet setting; secluded but close to Keeneland, distilleries, and restaurants. "The cabin was incredibly cute, clean, and well equipped. The snacks and T-shirts made arrival extra welcoming! The property was so much fun to relax on! We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and the covered front porch every day. Our dogs enjoyed walking the grounds and hanging out with us in and around the cabin. "The cottage is cute, very clean and spacious. We walked the trail down to the creek and around the main house one morning. Very peaceful. We met the donkeys Chet and Lloyd and fed them carrots. Convenient to distilleries and places of interest. We would definitely recommend this property!"
