Our home is located on a corner lot with off-street parking for 4 to 5 cars. You can relax by the electric fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom, or enjoy the outdoor firepit and BBQ grill on the back deck, where you can also swing on the porch swings and admire the night lights. Our home has smart TVs in every bedroom and the living room, as well as sound machines and ear plugs to help you sleep soundly

Our home is designed to accommodate up to nine guests and make you feel at home. You can choose from three bedrooms, each with a different size and style of bed. Both bathrooms are located on the first floor, as this is a story and a half historic home.

One of the highlights of our home is the bathroom located on the first floor. This bathroom features an antique claw bathtub where you can soak and relax.

Guest access
The entire home is available to guests with the exception of a small housekeeping closet under the stairs and a shed out back. The back deck is an amazing space for gathering in the evenings or sit on the front steps and watch the train go by.

NO SMOKING/VAPING OF ANY TYPE ALLOWED IN THE HOME. NO PETS ALLOWED IN THE HOME.
NO OVERNIGHT GUESTS ALLOWED. NO PARTIES. NO EVENTS.

YOU MUST BE 25 YEARS OR OLDER TO BOOK THIS PROPERTY AND MUST BE A GUEST DURING THE STAY.

Official Photo ID such as Driver's License, State ID, or Passport is required with every booking. Text photo ID with reservation.
Person who books the reservation must also be a guest for the time period reserved.

You can find railroad tracks on our street in front of the home. This is an active track throughout the days, evenings, and middle of the night. It varies as to how often and how many trains pass by each day/night. Sound machines and ear plugs are provided to guests. Train enthusiasts love this aspect of our home! The train is a part of the history of our home and Harrodsburg.

Please notify us when you have vacated the property. If possible, we like to have the property prepared and cleaned for the next guests as soon as possible. Late checkout fees apply at the rate of $250.00 per hour. We will not approve modification requests that are outside of the moderate cancellation policy as stated in the listing as we have turned other guests away for your dates.

No drugs are allowed on the property or use of drugs. This is a non smoking/vaping property inside. No smoking allowed near the kitchen or front door of home. We require you to dispose of any and all cigarette butts, cigars, etc. outside of the home and to be placed in the sand flower pot located at the far right of the deck with swings.. Penalties of $500 to be assessed for breaking this policy as well as immediate removal without reimbursement for your stay.

This home is old and has exposed bricks throughout the home which is part of its charm, however, you may on an occasion see some mortar dust, a cobweb or possibly an insect such as a spider. However, we do have the home treated by professional pest control services on a regular basis. Our housekeepers also clean prior to your stay to prevent or reduce any of these things.
