Quietly nestled on thirty acres of serene Tennessee mountainside lies this beautiful 3,240 sq foot cabin. Newly built, this lovely cabin has everything you need for the perfect peaceful escape. This cabin has a roomy, open floor plan containing two bedrooms housing king beds and a large loft with a full bed and three twin beds. Family room has 2 queen sofa sleepers. The professionally designed kitchen includes all of the necessities for a large festive event or a simple gathering.

Enjoy fishing and paddle boating on our large pond, explore the mountainside adjoining the National Forest, and close out your day by relaxing on the front porch overlooking the lake for the ideal evening experience. Bring your horses and take advantage of our 3 stall barn and ample riding area. With all of the offerings of rafting, kayaking, zip lines at Hartford plus Asheville, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, and Knoxville close by, there’s no lack of activities available to make your vacation the getaway of a lifetime.

Cool Valley

The property was nice. House was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was very peaceful and quiet, which is what we were looking for.. Mom and 3 daughters just hung out and played games and enjoyed each others company.Only disadvantage was no WIFI.

Wedding

Our daughter wanted a Tennessee wedding so thats what we gave her. Owner was great it is a ride to get to the property off the hwy but I feel like when you go to Tennessee that is part of the experience. Was a great house and property to walk around and relax with friends. Awsome place to do the small wedding are daughter wanted everything turned out grwat.

Perfect family getaway

This was an easy booking. Hosts were very communicative. Property was beautiful, clean, comfortable and everything described. It was cozy and with 14 people ranging from 2-68 years old we had enough space to play games and spend quality time together. We even enjoyed the row boat out on the pond! I would recommend to others.

Perfect getaway

The drive to the property is absolutely beautiful. The property is secluded and perfect for the family. The beds were comfortable, and the house came with everything to have a perfect family vacation. The grandkids loved the catch and release pond. We had a couple questions during our stay and the hosts responded super fast. A great experience.

Nice peaceful getaway

River Rat Getaway

The cabin and property were outstanding. The cabin was very clean and well equipped. WIFI helped us stay in contact with family at home. Property was private, secluded, and restful. Our white water raft trip was exciting and fun. Would love to do it again. Overall I rate it a 10 !

Family Reunion

The property was perfect for our annual family weekend get-together. The best ever. The grandchildren enjoyed fishing in the lake, wading and exploring in and around the running creek, lawn games and campfire. The cabin is spacious, well equipped and clean. Thank you to hosts Daniel and Teresa Ford for a memorable weekend. We definitely hope to return next year.

Our stay!

Mr Ford was very accommodating, very friendly. The cabin is solid, scenery is great. Its about a 20 minute drive from town with stunning views. The roads to the cabin are curvy, sometimes narrow... I appreciated the realness of a true mountain town, not the flashiness of Gatlinburg. Would recommend

Making Memories

We were Blessed to vacation in the mountains of Tennessee 2 years in a row at this great location. If you want to get away with family this is the place.. The house had plenty of room of for the 10 of us. We really enjoyed fishing, the paddle boat, fire pit, outdoor games, and playing in the creek. The house was clean, grass was mowed and the property is well maintained. I hope you enjoy your vacation here as much as we did.

Family Weekend Trip

Our stay at this house and property was perfect from start to finish. It was set back far enough away from other people that you felt secluded and private. Plenty of room for activities for children. The house itself is open, spacious but cozy. The owner was available for any questions we had about the house. We hope to make this an annual destination for our late summer family trip.

Great get away, had a great time with the nicely stocked pond. Lots of hungry fish, paddle boat was a blast. Be sure to bring fire wood with you for fire pit. Wish we had, found some sticks but would have been better with wood.

Mountain house vacation

This was our second stay at the property, two years apart. Our group consists of a grandma, great aunt, a mom and 4 children, aged 6 to 16. We love having morning coffee on the porch, hikes and rafting. A relaxing and refreshing experience.

Wonderful family retreat. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 kids (planned on 6 and 5 - would have been fine). Updated fully furnished kitchen, spacious dining area, comfy tv room. Downstairs bedroom and bath perfect for papa and me. Upstairs slept everyone else with plenty of space & 2 full baths. ***The pond, creek, spacious yard was perfect for the grandkids who had the time of their lives.

Wonderful experience!

Our stay at your home was absolutely amazing. My children and grands fished, played in the strea, explored and just had the best time overall. Everything was clean and the owners made contact with us to insure that he was available if we needed anything. This property is close to everything but secluded enough to be "alone". We loved it...added bonus...my daughter was proposed to on our last day there! Even more special!
