"Staithes is mine and my partner's favourite place in the UK. We have stayed in Staithes a few times now and I can honestly say I would recommend this cottage to anyone. "Arrived a few hours early, and the lady on the front desk was really friendly and got us checked into our room. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff at breakfast were very nice and the food was very nice also very fresh. She even made my son a bacon sandwich because he couldn’t be bothered to get out of bed 😂. "The Hen House cottage was a great place to stay for our trip in the Durham area. The village of Brandon is a beautiful location for going for walks in the countryside and with a great pub/ restaurant called the Bay Horse Inn on 50m away it’s a perfect place to stay. The village is very close to the historic house, chapels and gardens of Ushaw and Brancepeth Castle, which are both excellent places to visit!!
