Basic maintenance not being done.
Third time staying here. Many things not being fixed or maintained. Location is great! Nice quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Screened in porch is enjoyable. View of lake is limited. Living room furniture is very comfortable as is the bed. Nice but could be a much nicer place if basic maintenance was done.

Nice property for recreational vacationers
House is a bit dated, but very functional for your everyday needs. Charcoal Grills, no gas grills Would not recommend a boat and trailer, unless small, like a jet ski, or a small boat. Parking and access is very limited. Very quiet area. Lots of nature to enjoy. Screened in porch area is relaxing and spacious.

Great lake view
The neighborhood was friendly. The lake was simply beautiful. We found all the services in Hartwell. The house was rustic, but we were able to rest. The only detail was that the air conditioning system was noisy. Overall we liked the place and we had a great vacation.

Thanksgiving getaway
Second time staying here. We like the quiet location and country setting. Jessica does a great job taking care of our needs! This home is a good deal for the money. Summer camp feel. Real nice porch! We visit relatives that live nearby.

THE PLACE WAS REALLY NICE HAD A GOOD TIME. WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF BACK YARD HAD BEEN CUT. DID EXPERIANCE PALMETTO BUGS IN KITCHEN AND LIVING ROOM, NOT TO PLEASANT. OVEN COULD USE UPGRADE.

Relaxing
It was quiet and relaxing. A little far from grocery stores but totally worth it. The only issue was the property was not cleaned when we arrived. The property manager had someone there very quickly and it was done in about an hour and a half. Another suggestion would be to clear the vines, bushes etc from the front entrance. Poison Ivy is growing over the door.

Nice neighborhood. Host was very responsive. If you like a summer camp feel, you will like this place. If you are a perfectionists, this is not the place for you. Nice open layout. Comfy beds. Important things are clean. Deck and porch could be better.

Pro’s -The house was larger than expected so had lots of room to cook thanksgiving dinner and sofas were great for watching parade and game. The covered deck was perfect for eating outside with a large table and lots of room. Also the entire deck is enclosed so could let dogs run around on it. Great dock and open back yard although steep drop to water. The harbor light marina coupon was awesome and boat we used was really nice - people there very helpful. Con’s - All of the showers were difficult if you are tall - shower heads very low. The light over dining room table is so dusty - gross. The two bedroom door handles don’t work - can’t keep door closed. Washing machine is really loud. Was new to this area and as vrbo doesn’t give exact location until you pay it’s hard to get a feel for area. This was very rural - 20 minutes to town and house next door had chickens. House is at end of creek so view is okay but not great. Would be good for swimming as at end so not much boat traffic.

Everything was great, but I was disappointed no electricity on the dock.
Needed power to charge batteries in the bass boats, but had to load the boats on trailer daily & use power from the house. Having a dock was the reason we chose this house. Minor inconvenience

Nice getaway
Nice view. House was pleasant. We did have to buy light bulbs for kitchen and master bath and put them in. Unfortunately it rained everyday that we were there but it gave us of few days to relax and do nothing. I would stay there again.

Perfect getaway with you boat.
The house is easy to get to. Sun room is absolutely awesome place for meals and conversation time. The dock is a very short walk from the house, and fit our 23' boat just fine. Great swimming right off the dock or short boat rides to find some beaches near by for the kids. All the neighbors are quite and very friendly. The rooms themselves are good size rooms, and the beds were very comfortable. Restaurants and grocery store is about a 15 min drive. There's also a restaurant with boat access that's little less than a 15 min boat ride. This was our first long weekend lake trip as a family using VRBO. So we weren't really sure what to expect. The kitchen was very usable with just about everything one needs. We have every intention on booking this place again.

Great spot on a cove to big lake!

Just Wonderful!
Very clean house equipped with everything and a great screened porch. Somewhat hard to reach without Google/Apple phone map, and the entrance is a bit hidden, but what a delight when you reach it! The doors need fixing as they don’t close properly but that was not an issue with us. Great for relaxation and the swimming is heavenly. Found it very hard to leave!

We enjoyed our stay at this house. Back porch was nice. The dock was on deep water in a cove. The house was very clean, plenty of towels & dishes, beds were comfy. We'd stay here again.

Rough walk to the dock
If you have bad joints or get light headed easy the beautiful dock will probably be useless to you. Very steep rocky with roots, mostly dirt pathway to the dock. No fire pit, but there is a perfect spot for one. Multiple light bulbs were out in the bathrooms. They need to update door handles and front door deadbolt we got locked in a couple of times. The table in the screened in porch needs to be tightened VERY wobbly. Again if your a bit on the fluffy side with bad joints the showers in the master bedroom are useless as well we opted for the guest shower. We also had issues with the Direct Tv. Beyond that the beds were very comfy as we got a great rest and the price was great
