"Room was inexpensive, clean. Staff was friendly. The room had a microwave and a mini fridge with a freezer so you could freeze water bottles for the long summer trip. Beds were comfy. Good quiet location."

"This little house is fully stocked to the brim with everything you could need to have an amazing stay. Starting with TWO baskets of snacks, lotions, bug sprays, drinks, treats, glow sticks, soaps... to the kitchen having not two but three coffee making options, and coffee provided! I chose the pour over. Because, why not! There's a full selection of tea, and a very nice water kettle. Sugar, seasonings, baking soda and powder, agave, a cocktail mixer set, all the knives are sharp, all the silverware matches, the pots and pans are all so nice! The shampoo/conditioner/body wash all smell so nice, there's lotions and soaps provided. The towels are so fluffy and clean, the linens are crisp and the beds are really comfy. The deck is perfect for sunning, chilling, grilling, or snoozing. The dock is super cute and the water is nice and clean, for putting your toes in. Down the road a bit is a private beach that's highly swimmable. The host is there for anything you need. He's kind and friendly! I 1000% recommend staying here. We will be back for sure."

"We visited for 3 nights and 4 days in July 2026. Bavarian Inn property is huge. We found it to be a little confusing as to where to go for check in. Check in is located near Oma’s Restaurant. There is no clear sign as to where to go for check in. It would’ve been helpful if there would’ve been a sign that clearly said.”Check in”. Clean property, clean, comfortable rooms, bed is very comfortable, refrigerator and microwave were nice to have in the room. Property restaurants are very expensive for a family budget. Ratskeller Cafe located in Arcade area served up a decent pizza, 16” pepperoni for $23 bucks. Service was great! We ordered carry out at Oma’s restaurant because they were short staffed and couldn’t seat us. Two 1/2 pound burgers with fries was decent but not all that special for $40. We had dinner at Zehnders one evening. The meal was served family style. Pay one price for all you care to eat. $69 for the two of us. Chicken dinner, they offer other options but everything is served family style, no individual meal choices offered. A lot of carbs. We felt like all the food lacked seasoning. The service was good. The Inn’s huge Arcade and game room is very entertaining! Waterpark is ginormous! There is an “adults only” pool and whirlpool located near the front desk area. Our stay at the Bavarian Inn property, visiting the River shops, and Bonner’s Christmas Shop made for a nice getaway vacation trip. We would definitely recommend a visit to the Bavarian Inn!"

"Overall everything was great, we had a great time. The property is nice and quiet, you really can escape from the real world and get lost in your thoughts. At night it does get extremely dark, you barely can see in front of you so be prepared for that. They give you a nice welcome package that comes with water, popcorn, coffee, tea, oatmeal and s'mores. My wife and I had a great time and will return soon."
