  • The Providence is a modern 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house located within the popular Hastings area on the lively south coast of Barbados and within walking distance to the beach!!!

    Get the best of both worlds; the property is located on a quiet residential street, so you get to experience a local vibe and in less than 10 mins walk, you will find yourself amongst restaurants, minimarts, the Boardwalk, and bus stops to take you to town. You couldn’t be better placed for a relaxing, convenient, and stress-free holiday.

    The house sleeps up to 5 people and features: a pool, deck area and outdoor lounge area, master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, x1 double bedroom, x1 single bedroom, main bathroom, AC and ceiling fans (in bedrooms and living room), cable TV in living room, 43” Smart TV, WI-FI, fully equipped kitchen, indoor dining area, bed linen, wash towels & beach towels, BBQ grill, Bluetooth music system, iron & board, hairdryer, board games and laundry room.

    Your host, Keisha, lives in Barbados and will be happy to help you with grocery shopping, car rental, reservations, and other concierge items.

Stay at Harts Gap - The Providence

The house is situated just off the main road (about 5 mins walk) with a small convenience store close by for those immediate supplies. Beach is just over the main road and is lovely and not too populated when we stayed. There were 5 of us travelling to watch the cricket and enjoy the break from the UK winter and this place was ideal for our needs. Kiesha was in contact throughout and when we encountered a problem, she was swift in responding and ensuring that this was resolved as soon as possible. She answered all our queries and even recommended where we might be able to hire a car at a rate lower than we could find online. The house is lovely and decorated to a modern style with air con in each room with ceiling fans to support, both of which was very needed as it was 30 degrees each day we were there, even after it rained. I’d recommend this place if you’re looking to get an experience of Barbados away from the anaesthetic of a hotel. The house is perfect and allows you the freedom to feel part of the local community. Kiesha was a fantastic host, knowledgeable and attentive to our requests throughout our stay in early November and I’d definitely look to stay here again.

Keisah is responsive and welcoming! Her home is well appointed with all one needs to enjoy a stay in the Bim.The garden is perfect. A nice sized porch off the back door, with a ladder that leads directly into the pool. The gazebo area at the back is perfect if it is a bit rainy.

I had an amazing time here. The property was spotless and had all the amenities needed. Short walk to the local convenience store. Beds were very comfortable. Accessibility to town, best beach in Barbados and local restaurants!
