"The view from my accommodation and also that of my family members in the two next door was way better than the picture - literally 'tree tops' - looking across the Kent countryside through mature trees. The terrace was perfect for sitting out. The rooms were modern and really lovely, air conditioned, well equipped and with a sliding Japanese style door for privacy when the kids were in bed. The reserve was so peaceful"

"Very nice room, aircon worked extremely well, had to turn it down a bit despite staying over on one of the heatwave nights. Staff were excellent, and breakfast was nice as well. Only thing to mention was the lack of parking availability. Whilst I booked my parking spot well in advance, it was clear they filled up very quickly, and weren't enough spaces for guests. There were EV chargers as well, which were all working and easy to use, but once the car was charged, there was no space to move it to a regular parking spot, so the hotel staff told me to just leave it there overnight, blocking someone else from potentially using it - not ideal for a Hilton.
Overall though, excellent, would definitely stay again."
"Lovely clean hotel our room was very spacious modern lovely bathroom air conditioning great area close to beach and shops
Ahmed the manager is amazing couldn't do enough for us if we called or messaged him he was there in minuites with a smile very polite and very good at his job welcoming and a lovely guy look forward to going back in the future"
"We arrived earlier and were helpfully directed by a receptionist (Ozgen) about the location of their on-site car park (available on a first-come, first-served basis); the rate information on a 24-hour basis (£8 instead of £10); and how to log in car's registration number once it's been parked.
We were unable to check in early, but left our suitcase securely in Ozgen's hands until we came back. Whilst waiting, we enjoyed basking in the beauty of the sea and the sun (as well as the shingle). We were also witnessed the Airbourne shows with the rest of the beach goers.
Our double room was spacious with an entryway, my requested electric fan, and an ensuite bathroom.
The main room had hinged picture windows, a mini fridge (cool enough for preservation level), or similar to what their advertised double room images. However, the mirrors' placements are different with no luggage rack, but a luggage cabinet.
The actual ensuite bathroom with shower/bathtub combination. In my opinion, it was better because of the inset basin, which provided ample space for toiletries and other bathroom essentials.
The entryway had a wardrobe cabinet with the safe and the iron/ironing board.
Wish the carpet were thoroughly clean; another set of pillows was provided; and the windows' openings are in different directions to provide more privacy.
There was a drinking water dispenser at the reception; and a bar balcony for relaxing nights whilst listening to live background music."
"Very comfortable room staff are amazing and if you're a unite union member the discount on food and drink is a bonus not to miss out on.
A great staycation."
"Returned again for another stay during the airbourne, unfortunately this time we noticed a few minor problems. The gentlemen out front of the hotel and stefan (from the resturant) were so helpful and welcoming! A few things we noticed during our stay this time, we came back to our room one evening towels had been taken however no new towels were left , I rung straight down stairs and they said someone would bring them up however we needed to get ready for dinner and no one brought these up , I had to then ask at reception after dinner and re ask for some towels to be left, also in the process of them removing the towels they took by mistake my microfibre hair towel which I didn’t get back. The day time we had lunch every day in the hotel however I appreciate it’s busy and there may not be enough staff but we was left way to long in between and having to keep trying to get some ones attention in which everything we order had a service charge on which in the day time I don’t think this should be the case. One evening we got to the bar just as last orders had been taken the lady behind the bar was very friendly and said she would quickly serve us , my partner and brother sat down on the chairs behind while she was making our drinks and some young man who was a worker came into the bar and said to them we’re closed you cant sit here , which we appreciate the bar was closed however I was clearly waiting for the drinks and it’s the way he said it was very rude."
"We loved our room - Junior Suite with the biggest ever bed and fabulous view from the window overlooking the sea, with the pier to the left and the bandstand to the right. Sitting at the window became my "happy place" for our three days!
The Jacuzzi bath was a nice touch but we should have asked Reception for a suction handle for the wall as there was nothing for my husband to hold onto in order to stand up and get out.
The breakfasts were excellent with a good choice of hot meals cooked fresh to order. Personally I would have liked more choice of fruit but the fresh fruit on offer was adequate.
The free glass of wine in the piano bar on the first night was a nice touch and we were delighted to be entertained on the piano all three nights by Annie, singing and playing (she has a beautiful voice), and Alan with his stunning playing of Jazz and Blues etc.
The staff were most helpful. Thank you Chatsworth Hotel for a very enjoyable stay."
