My daughter and I stopped in for a one night stay. It was a lovely experience. Jenny and Gerry were warm and kind. The mansion was beautiful. My 11 year old daughter was especially enchanted with the beautiful garden and fairy homes throughout. We stayed in the peacock chamber and we felt like princesses. My sleep was excellent. We have gluten allergies and had an early morning leadership convention so Jenny was so dear to our fruit and granola in a to go box for us. We would love to visit again sometime. Highly recommend!
Beautiful home, filled with antiques and history. Wonderful hosts who seek to make your stay, rooms, meals and moments memorable. If you like antiques and history this is the place for you. While the home is carefully preserved there are also enough modern touches to make your stay quite comfortable. Would recommend. Also very convenient many dining options of a wide variety.
The room was spotless and the bed and bedding were SO comfortable. The owners and staff were very personable and accommodating. I cannot speak to the breakfast as I had an early work day start, but it smelled delicious as I was departing.
I had the best weekend at the Ross Mansion Bed and Breakfast. The host, Gerry & Jenny were fabulous and recommended places for me to visit and eat. I went to the Lucky Rabbit, the Hen House, the zoo, and of course the Pocket Museum. The home is decorated gorgeously and the yard is something out of a fairy tale. Breakfast was great and I even found a new bread to have toast with...lol. I 10/10 recommend this place to fellow travelers!
This was my first bed and breakfast experience and I absolutely loved it. Everyone was so kind and we are looking forward to booking another stay in the future!
Wonderful property, could not have a had a better experience. Would stay again if back in the area. The owners are delightful and the place is fun to explore.
This gorgeous Mansion is one of the most special and lovely places I have ever stayed. The decorations and the ambience are impeccable as well as the service. I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to the Hattiesburg area as a go to place to stay for a wonderful experience.
Our overnight stay at the Ross Mansion B&B was exactly what my husband and I needed for a quick refresher. Gerry and Jennifer were excellent hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast provided. If we are ever back in Hattiesburg, we will stay here again!

The property was spotless and well maintained. Jerry &
The historic home was tastefully updated to accommodate guest stays. The owners also live in the home and are constantly striving to make your stay "an experience" rather than just a sleepover. The multi-course breakfast was amazing and tastefully served. We highly recommend this property.
The house was so nice. Our room was great. Jen and Gerry were gracious host, provided a great lodging experience, and rare old school pleasant friendly smiling from the heart B and B service.

Absolutely breathtaking home and garden. Jenny and Gerry were excellent and informative hosts. The mansion is beautiful, spotless and grand, yet so welcoming to 2 very road weary travellers. Ross Mansion exceeded our expectations and our only regret was our stay was too short. Thank you for sharing this beautifully restored home

It’s a whole experience
Very clean host is very friendly and we had such a wonderful experience. Will definitely be coming back again.
This was a lovely B&B! I had a great stay and enjoyed the service, food, and ambience immensely. The only thing is that I wish I’d known that there were train tracks so close to the property the first night because it made for a slightly disruptive night’s sleep. But once I knew, I slept fine with my AirPods in for the second night.
We stayed at Ross Mansions for one night but wished we could have stayed for longer if we wasn’t travelling around. The house was stunning and we were amazed at each room. The hosts Gerry and Jenny looked after us and nothing was too much trouble. Worth a visit as you will not be disappointed
Built in 1903 the house has southern charm, wrap-around porch, and a pristine garden that was lighted at night. The owners Gerry and Jenny were extremely friendly and knowledgable about the house and town. They made our stay memorable and left me wanting to come back during the holiday season. Breakfast was above average: fresh fruit parfait was the high-light of the meal. Would recommend this place to anyone.
This was an excellent place to stay. It was like walking back in time with the furniture, decorations. The garden was beautiful , the house was gorgeous filled with period antiques.
The hosts Gerry and Jenny were always trying to make our stay better. They went the extra mile on everything insuring we were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Everything about the place was first class
What happens when you Google unique places to stay in Hattiesburg? You book a magical stay at the Ross Mansion!! It was like entering a fairytale dream from check in to check out!! My husband and I enjoyed every second! The ownwers/hosts were so kind and shared so many stories of the history and treasures of the home and were just a joy to be around!! Breakfast was absolutely perfect and the bed was sweet dream inducing ,cozy and comfortable!! We can not wait to come back - thank you for a truly enchanting stay!!
Stayed @ Ross Mansion for the Hattiesburg Half Marathon. Walking distance to the start/finish. Discovered so many great new restaurants & shops downtown. Close to train depot. Looking @ a future stay tied to a train trip to Laurel. Gerry & Jenny were great hosts. Left for the race early & were not returning until after breakfast. So they made fruit yogurt parfaits the night before for us. Love the history & all the special pieces.
