We booked this casa particular through Expedia. On arrival in Havana we called the owner and he said in a poor English that he had canceled the reservation. After, he turn off his cellphone so we still went to the place but nobody opened the door. Terrible first experience of Cuba. We had to solve a new place to sleep carrying all our backpacks around. We also called Expedia but somehow they said they cannot provide assistance in Cuba??? We booked and payed the accommodation through Expedia! Communications are very expensive in Cuba but I will come back to Expedia to get my refund once I get back to Europe.
