Easy, clean, great location

The condo was updated, clean and a noticeably super comfortable bed! Check-in/out was simple and the host was very quick to answer any questions you may have. Appreciated the stocked closet of beach gear and the nice Tommy Bahama chairs (best beach chairs IMO). Would definitely stay again!

Perfection!

The property was as advertised- clean, stylish, well supplied, great location. We had all the dishes and cooking supplies needed to prepare a holiday meal for our family, who stayed in several condos. We made great use of the beach chairs and umbrellas, as well. This unit has a beautiful view of the hills, with a roomy lanai including a large dining table. Communication w/the hosts was flawless and efficient... all great things to say! We would 1000% stay here again. What a fun resort and lovely condo!

Lovely and Beautiful Stay

We had a great and relaxing stay at Konea 830. Everything from checking in and out was so easy - no stress whatsoever. Amir and Maryam were awesome hosts. Monty was awesome too - I really appreciate him checking in on us periodically. I would come back again and choose our stay with them. Thank you so much and Mahalo!

Amazing vacation spot

This was such an amazing place to stay. Monty was great! They had all the amenities we needed for our 2 year old son. He enjoyed every part of this vacation including the sand toys that were supplied. We were hesitant on keeping him entertained but the supplies and equipment they supplied was perfect. Our family comes every 2 years to visit and we will definitely be rebooking our next stay here! Thank you guys!!

Awesome Rental

This condo made a great home base on our trip to Maui. It was very clean and easy to access. We loved having breakfast outside every morning and really appreciated the beach chairs and umbrella. We would definitely stay here again!

Great condo for a family vacation

Clean, spacious condo well stocked with everything you need to have fun in Maui. Had breakfast on the large deck every morning with a beautiful mountain view. Loved the closet filled with beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and beach toys. Would love to stay here again!

Wonderful Space for a Couple or Small Family

This unit was perfect for our family. Nice kitchen with all of the pots & pans that you'd need. AC works great and the lanai/patio is wonderful! Even though this is not an ocean view unit (you can still see the ocean from one part of the lanai) it is a great view especially at night time with the Hawaiian music and food truck park lights nearby. The owner even has some board games and books to pass the time if you happen to be on Maui during a rare bad weather day. Parking is underground, but only about 50 steps away from the elevator that brings you right to your room. Room is located super close to the elevator and the sound proofing is very good, so you don't hear neighbors or hallways traffic. We will most definitely stay again!

Perfect stay!

We loved staying at this property! The resort was clean, friendly and a great location. Within steps to a beautiful beach and not a trek to get to beach/pool and back to room with little kids. The beach chairs and boogie board was a huge plus. The cooler and ice maker in the garage were great for adventure days. One of the best trips we’ve had to Hawaii. We will be staying here again if we come back to Maui!

This property was absolutely GREAT! All the amenities needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay were spot on. Both the owner and the property manager were very easy to work with and especially accommodating! Location is good and close to the highways which you will be taking every time you need to get around and visit this beautiful Island. I truly recommend the Honua Kai Konea 830

Fantastic Condo

We had an amazing week's vacation at the property. The condo is extremely well presented and clean. The main bed was very comfortable and the kids sleeping on the pull out sofa were also happy. The kitchen was stocked with all equipment needed during our stay. The pools and beach access at the property were great. We spent the majority of our time there with the kids. Duke's was great for dinner, as was the food truck park which we could walk to. Overall I would highly recommend the condo for a great break.

Wonderful property, excellent communication with hosts!

Just returned from 8 nights in this lovely unit! Very clean, comfortable, and all we needed for a relaxing getaway! Excellent communication with hosts, we arrived late from a flight and keys/ wrist bands were waiting with the security folks as advised. Underground parking (lots when we were there) and a few extra amenities that made our visit so wonderful. Travelled with family who rented a couple other units in the building and ours was nicer than the others in everyone's opinion! Thanks for the memories!!

Great Location, clean and convenient gear for kids

The condo was easy to access and was clean, which was very important with an infant crawling around. The stroller was so convenient to have. The kitchen was well stocked. We had a drainage issue in the bathtub and the problem was resolved within an hour of contacting the host. The space was a little small and lacked storage for food, but fit our family of four (two adults, a toddler and an infant) just fine. Would recommend for families with small children.

Enjoyed this unit very much. This unit had everything we needed for our stay, even kid friendly serveware. (Just a note, they did not have sand toys so expect to buy some when you get there even though it’s pictured in the listing.) The AC was strong and the lanai was spacious with lovely sunrise views of the mountains. If you’re planning on staying at the Honua Kai resort, we highly recommend this unit.

It was very nice, but could use some updates. Higher toilet, safety bars in shower and new non skid for bath tub.also 2 week stay more than 2 and half rolls of tp. Yes they did bring more. Also no spices for cooking, our other travelers had plenty in there unit.

The description of the listing is on point. The bed was very comfortable. The place is big enough for family of 4 (2 teenagers). Only negative was the construction below us it’s an eye sore and we really couldn’t use the lanai because of the dust But u can hardly hear the construction noise.The facility was great n close to what you will need. Will definitely stay here again , hopefully by then the construction will be done.

Beautiful, safe, convenient resort in Kaanapali

We came to Maui over Christmas with the entire family and we all stayed in separate condos within the Honua Kai resort. It’s a beautiful and well maintained property with various pools fit for kids and adults of all ages. It was also nice to have Duke’s restaurant on property for a quick bite or drinks by the pool. This particular tower of the resort also had a general store which was so convenient! This unit was clean and well maintained. It also had plenty of items for cooking, for kids, and for taking to the beach. The property management company contacted us immediately on arrival and was very responsive to our needs. We only contacted them once when the shower was slow to drain, and they sent someone over immediately to fix it. That was so nice. Would stay here again! Maui is pure paradise.

Excellent stay

My stay at Honua Kai was amazing. The amenities at the resort are excellent. My 3 year old was at the pool all day most days. The lazy river and water slide add extra fun to the pools. We were always able to find lounge chairs and enjoyed the drink service from Duke’s. Duke’s restaurant is right on site and has delicious food. They take reservations up to 2 months in advance, and I would highly recommend getting one, as it is quite popular. The condo is exactly as pictured and described, and was perfect for myself, husband, toddler and baby. Having the baby equipment there was very helpful. The host was very responsive and made the whole experience easy. We will definitely be back, and will be recommending this unit to our friends as well. Some baby friendly recommendations and restaurants in the area are: Baby Beach, Waikiki Brewing, Cheeseburger in Paradise.

Good stay

Suite was clean and ready. Property manager was responsive with issues. Beds were comfy, tv and wifi worked great. Selection of board games was nice add as well. Beach chairs and boogie boards included were in good shape. Lanai had great morning sun and shade in the evening. Should note, only 6 place settings so we had to wash cutlery every day, sometimes multiple times. We did have a few a problems, AC quit working, property manager had someone out to look at it within hours. Code didn’t work in all the towel machines. Small roaches were seen in and around suite and property. Normal for Hawaii but still not welcomed. Also, only one bar of soap, would suggest owner leaves sink and shower soap bars. Few small adds from owner would make this a 5 star in line with other suites we have booked.
