"We had a lovely experience at Evans’ Holly Grove Inn B&B in Burlington Iowa. The historic house was in great shape and full of interesting artifacts that we enjoyed looking at and learning about. Our host Kage was amazing, making us feel very welcome and was attentive to our needs while we were there. Highly recommended!"

"After a really bad experience at the hotel I first booked.. poop and body liquids all over... they had a room free so I booked it. I was traumatized from the previous hotel and they were really accommodating and let me see the room before paying for it. Everything was so clean and everyone was super friendly. The food is super good and overall they made this trip so much better."

"The staff was so friendly, Grace was so sweet and friendly so was the lady that was there the next morning and the lady that worked the breakfast area. I wished all places that work for the public were like them. I worked with the public and I always treated everyone the way I would want to be treated, I know it’s hard sometimes because there’s always that one person who you can’t please. Thank you and if I ever come through your town I will stay with y’all again."

"Matt was incredible! We were forced to deal with an unforeseen issue to no fault of myself nor to Matt, but he handled it with aplomb. Communication was OUTSTANDING.He took the time to personally check us in and ensure that our stay was pleasant. I look forward to working with Matt on our next stay in Burlington!"

"We were thrilled with the quiet, comfortable, spacious room. It was great for sleeping and for reading. The house and property are beautiful and fascinating historically and architecturally. The hosts were incredibly kind and even helped us out with a car issue. Breakfasts were generous and delicious--quiche, coffee cake, fruit salad, etc. We had a great time and were well pleased."
