Welcome to Knotty View Cabin! This cozy place is tucked into a hillside view looking out at Lake Chatuge and the Blue Ridge Mountains. Nestled between the Nantahala and Chattahoochee National Forests, you will find enchanting small towns that serve local brews, farm fresh foods and of course antique shopping. This area provides endless hiking and biking trails, waterside family beaches and fishing piers, wineries with wine slushies, trail riding overlooking endless mountain ranges. ..OR just come relax on the screened porch, wine in hand, and enjoy the view!

-----The Cabin----
This authentic pine cabin has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, an open concept family room and kitchen, bonus room and large porch. The master bedroom has an attached bathroom. In the master bathroom is the washer and dryer setup. The guest bedroom has access to the guest bathroom, but the bathroom is also open to the main living area. There is a bonus room that can be used to drop all your excursion gear or use it as a game room. The screened porch is really more living space and worth sitting and relaxing the evening away! The home sits on 1.3 acres, so you have that well deserved seclusion. Even though this cabin sits on a good amount of land, it is situated close to HWY 64 so that you are able to get the cabin/mountain experience, but easy access to all awaiting adventures!

The cabinet is such a very comfortable and cozy place with fantastic views. Every time we’ve stayed here, there have been deer in the yard. This time we saw a red fox and a few groundhogs. We love this place.

Nice place near Hiawassee

Very oae to Georgia Fairgrounds. Mariolinos Italian restaurant is near by which was great. The beds were comfortable and the space cozy.

Cozy Cabin

We very much enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin was perfect for a quiet week with spectacular views day and night! The cabin was well furnished with everything that we needed to cook our own meals. We were definitely treated to a comfy cozy atmosphere. We will definitely stay there for future mountain visits.

The cabin has a beautiful view. It is located close enough to the highway that it is extremely convenient to get to town in no time yet far enough from the road that you barely hear any cars. The layout of the cabin is nice too with the bedrooms being separated by the living space is ideal.

Cozy cabin with beautiful mountain view

Very relaxing

We loved how serene it was to sit on the screened in porch and look out at the lake and the mountains. We didn’t do a lot of sightseeing but we did do was great. The best thing was the ability to relax.

Cute little cabin

We had a good stay with no issues. The cabin is clean and comfortable. We do prefer places with more privacy, but for this trip, we weren’t at the cabin much. We didn’t cook but there were plenty of dishes, some basic spices, and coffee! Hayesville is small but this place is convenient to Young Harris and Hiawassee.

The place was wonderful. The view was great we sat on the screened porch each evening and one night the ducks paid us a visit and we threw out some crackers for them. We made several half day day trips because we got extra lazy and slept in until about 10. A very relaxing trip that we needed

Lake Chatuge NC

A nice little two bedroom, two bathroom open floor plan with a good view of the mountains. We saw two deer on the property as well as a coyote walking with a deer. The property overlooks a few homes as you view the lake. Plenty of bird activity in the mornings to view from the screened in porch or from the picnic table out back.while sipping coffee. The property is essentially located with a short drive to the cities.

A Relaxing Stay with a Beautiful View

This destination made for a delightful, relaxing week of vacation near Hayesville, NC, on the northern shores of Lake Chatuge. With a beautiful, panoramic view of the mountains and an arm of the lake, the cabin is not far from the restaurants and shops of Hayesville and Murphy and the wines of the Eagle Fork Vineyards. The immaculately clean cabin had everything promised: Wi-Fi service; comfortable beds; an ample supply of towels, washcloths, and linens; a fully equipped kitchen where it was easy to cook; a pleasant living room area with a Roku TV equipped for streaming services; a convenient porch and dining room area. It is a great space for couples and small families. We look forward to coming back!

Wedding Weekend Getaway

We were attending a wedding in the area and Knotty View was a relaxing and comfortable base for us. Very comfortable beds and kitchen well-equipped although we did not cook. Nice “cabin decor” and while the house is not large, the floor plan and a great screened in porch makes it seem bigger. Very nice views of the mountains and a small lake are seen from the porch.
