Location is phenomenal.
We enjoyed being right in Hayward yet feeling like we were way out in the woods on the lake. Drinking my coffee from the recliner in the house and watching the sun rise over the lake was such an awesome experience.

Very nice
It was very nice. Loved the 2 living rooms also the bedrooms opposit end of house. Beautiful view from kitchen to lake. We didn't cook there but the kichen was well stocked. The kayaks got used often.Great time. The only thing was the apartments one each side. They were working on them during the day. Very loud. We thought we were not going too be by anyone. We had fun and that is what counts. We would definitely suggest it to others.

Perfect!

We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room and right on the lake. The view is wonderful but my only suggestion would be a curtain for the master bedroom window as the light for the flag was quite bright. Enjoyed the hiking trails around town.

Such a great family getaway
This cabin was perfect for our family of 8. It was so clean and had the kitchen+bathroom+bedrooms FULLY stocked with everything we could need. We enjoyed bonfires by the lake nightly and my kiddos fished the dock basically 24/7 :) They caught a nice bass and sunfish. We used the kayaks and paddle boats (life jackets provided). It was the perfect getaway- we’re already talking about going back next year! Thank you.

Great location and close to town!
Check-in was easy and host gave good directions on finding the cabin. Cabin was fully stocked of everything you would need. Loved having kayaks (which we didn’t use since we brought our own) and the peddle boat. Beds were a little uncomfortable, but all in all a fantastic stay! We also enjoyed the fire pit area and privacy. Would highly recommend.

Very clean, quiet property on Hayward Lake. Perfect for 4-6 people. Enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living areas. Pier for accessing the lake was perfect. Also very close to downtown Hayward businesses. Loved it!

This is a gem of a property!
Towering Pines Cabin is a property that people can enjoy for days. The home was stocked with the essentials and then some. The kayaks and paddle boat were utilized by our family daily. This property is clean and spacious for each person to enjoy the scenic outdoors or relax indoors.

Exploring Hayward for the first time
My husband and I and my best friend and her husband rented the house for an extended weekend. Great location! We brought a pontoon and went for a few sunset cruises. Lake is nice and calm. We were going to see the Lumberjack show just down the street but unfortunately it was too hot. Almost 100 degrees! We hit the cute shops and went to the Fishing Hall of fame museum. We enjoyed campfires at night and really liked the outdoor furniture. We made a lot of great memories. Thanks for letting us stay in your home.

This was our second time renting this property for our cabin getaway trip! The cabin itself is perfect for our needs. The kitchen is well stocked. It has a big table with lots of seating for family meals and playing games. We love that the property is accessible. The lake is quiet and peaceful. Great communication with the owners.

The cabin was wonderful and had everything we needed. The property manager reached out right away to check in and we loved the fact that firewood was onsite!!! The only thing I would point out is that some people would not consider a mile and a half walking distance from downtown.

Great Hayward Location
We enjoyed our stay & loved the close proximity to my mom & sister’s house with this location. The master bedroom was a bit drafty at night & for the price, it would have been nice to have more access to luxury items, bath towels & kitchen supplies. But we made things work & managed to prep our Thanksgiving side dishes with what was available. Both fireplaces were also very nice to use. A bigger tv & a new king size bed are my recommendations. The kitchen cabinets could use a good scrubbing & it would be a good idea to throw out the scratched pots & pans and replace with new stuff. Overall, a nice spot & great location close to town.

Beautiful Lakehouse!
The Lakehouse was large, clean and well-appointed. The owners were quick to respond to our needs by text and phone calls. The fire pit was great at night with nice chopped firewood stacked right next to the barbecue grill. We caught fish right of their dock and took some beautiful pictures of changing colors around the lake. Weekend in Hayward
Stayed at this location for a 4 day weekend to attend the Cranberry Festival at Stone Lake. Quiet location on Lake Hayward. House was clean and beds were comfortable. Drawbacks included used Kleenex tissues left in the lawn (front and back yard) assuming were left by the landscapers who recently mowed the lawn, kitchen dishes & utensils needed to be cleaned based on a sign in the kitchen stating host did not promise they would be sterile or clean. Normally, this would not be an issue, but in a COVID world and with a young child staying with us, it was not a ideal or preferred situation. While we enjoyed the beautiful Hayward area, probably would not stay at this location again based on these issues. Kate G

Hi Katherine, Thank You for staying at our Cabin and Thank You for letting me know about your concerns. I wanted to address your concern about the sign that was posted that you referenced about the "Sanitizing of Utensils". Sawyer County requires this sign to be posted as part of our Rental Licensing Requirements. It by no means is indicating that the property, kitchen dishes or utensils are not cleaned properly. It does mean that we are fully licensed and go through a thorough inspection process in order to maintain our Rental License. Also, thanks for the heads up on the tissue in the yard, I will be sure to talk to the lawncare service to remind them to watch for these types of items.

Great cabin and location
We were so impressed with this rental. The location near downtown was very convenient. Hayward was bustling, while the cabin was a quiet haven with a beautiful view. The cabin was clean and extremely well stocked…right down to the firewood! The patio with fire pit and lake view was our favorite place to hang out. We even caught several (small) fish off the dock. Highly recommend.

Thank you to the property owners for allowing us the temporary use of this lake home. Within walking distance to town. The lake view was fantastic. Did not get much opportunity for fishing because of weather, wind and rain. (3-day stay) The cabin was well stocked with essentials and quiet. Very comfortable.

Wonderful accommodations!
First of all the cabin is much more a lake home. It is very spacious and was exceptionally clean. The kitchen is large with lots of storage and fully equipped for any type of meal prep/cooking. The bedrooms were large and beds very comfortable. The bathroom was nicely updated. We thoroughly enjoyed the large patio area and fire pit. Very comfortable outdoor furniture. The only less than optimal thing was the swimming area. No real beach area and although the lake had a sandy bottom, there were a lot of weeds and not pleasant to swim in. This did not bother our paddle boarders and we managed with various flotation devices. We understand it is hard to control nature. The location of the cabin is perfect to access all attractions in the Hayward area. All in all we had a fabulous time with our family and highly recommend this property.

The house was bigger than we expected. Big kitchen, loved the big table! Enjoyed two separate living rooms, one with TV the other without. 4 kayaks on the property. Wonderful patio and fire ring area. Loved our stay, so clean and organized!!! Bedrooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Very peaceful and private, even with neighbors on each side. Wonderful location, close to town. We would stay here again.

We had a lot of fun staying at this cabin with family. It’s a short walk to the ice cream shop, Mini golf and restaurants. We loved using the kayaks and paddle boats. The cabin is large and has a lot of room for everyone. The cabin was clean and comfortable. If your looking for a nice large cabin to stay in with your family then I recommend staying here.

Towering Pines was all it was purported to be. The home was clean and well furnished, the bed was most comfortable. Wood was available for camp fire. There is a paddle boat and kayaks. The property owners are most helpful and gracious. It is close to town and many interesting things in the area.

Great house- loaded with good things
Stayed at this house last week. We were pleasantly surprised on all the things they provided.... there was abundant Kleenex, toilet paper and paper toweling. The kitchen drawers and cupboards are loaded with anything you would need to cook. Lots of pots and pans, utensils, slow cooker, griddle, hot pads, etc. There were ziplock bags, foil and plastic wrap and some seasonings and oil and cooking spray. The laundry room had Tide soap and bounce sheets (not sure if they are always there, but were this past week.) They provided ample towels and washcloths for bathroom and kitchen. There were soap dispensers at the sinks. We thoroughly enjoyed using the 3 kayaks and the paddle boat throughout the week. The lake is the perfect size for kayaks and paddle boats... some people have pontoons and fishing boats, but it is small enough to enjoy on the smaller boats. There is a really nice beach down the road, if you want a bigger swimming area that is free of weeds. This lake is a bit weedy... but clear and cool water. We thought check in and check out were super easy. The owners did contact us early in the week to see if we had any questions. There is only one TV, but it had cable channels and we also brought our Fire stick to enjoy Netflix and other things. Very comfortable house. Comfortable beds and furniture. Outdoor deck had plenty of chairs, a gas grill, a nice fire pit and tons of wood for us to use. If we ever are in that area of WI again, I would rent this house again.

There was so much we liked about this property! Three bedrooms at opposite sides of the house so adults and children were separated. Two spacious living areas so we could spread out. Large, fully equipped kitchen that was fun to cook and eat in. Water toys (kayaks and paddle boat) for the grandkids to enjoy. Comfy fire pit with all the wood we needed.
