"The host was incredibly kind and very responsive. They replied immediately and were able to kindly accommodate all of our requests. The house is very beautiful. The beds are also incredibly comfortable. The house has so much space. Even with a big group, it felt spacious. On the other hand, the attic is very hot. Although the fact that it has no AC is advertised, the heat in the attic is a bit unbearable. We ended up only using that floor to sleep (with extra fans). We avoided it during the day. I would recommend some cold air fans up there because the stuffiness renders that floor pretty useless. The other thing to note is that the hot tub offers no privacy. The tub is in the alley and all the cars passing by can see you. Although I understand fencing might not be an available option, at least adding a notice to the listing would be important. We were pretty disappointed by the lack of privacy offered. All in all, we would most definitely stay again if the chance came up. It was a very charming and adorable house. We would probably not go in summer though."

"The stay was great. One thing I feel I should have been notified of was the fact that a wildfire was very close days before I left on the trip. I found out while in transit and reached out to the manager. The reply was dismissive stating air quality index was 16 (good). I didn't feel completely safe the first night and was angered that I wasn't notified. As it turned out, the manager was correct [she said it shouldn't be a problem]. The wind and humidity helped her to be accurate. I did get a notification about the fire possibly impacting my trip to a nearby rafting expedition but no notice from VRBO even though I had to drive a hwy declared potential evaluation ready."
