"We had such a lovely stay and loved this house! It had such great touches that made the experience so warm and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with all the appliances and tools we needed. The beds were so comfortable. Grounds were beautiful and the pool was perfect for the whole family to relax. We loved it!"

"Excellent location in the rolling hills of Virginia, overlooking a small Equestrian venue about a 1/2 mile away. The trail (road) is packed gravel and suitable for jogging and biking (very popular there). Much wildlife to watch. The pool, fire pit, and deck are 1st class. The only issue was the aggregate in the deck is somewhat sharp for tender feet.The tennis court surface is aged but still fun if you aren't playing seriously.Minor issue would be to have more clothing hanging racks in bedrooms. Some of the kitchen cabinet doors need to be tightened up, but no big deal. One A/C unit was quite loud on the first floor. We ran it on auto to minimize the running time.We cleaned up pretty thoroughly and left things as instructed, so there were no "add-ons" after our departure.Paul (our contact) was outstanding. He responded very quickly to several calls that we made. Overall - Excellent.Cheers!"

"We had a great stay here and would definitely come back. The house was perfect for our family of four—comfortable and a good size, with enough space but small enough to encourage lots of quality family time. Everything was really clean and well taken care of, which we appreciated right away. It made it easy to settle in and just enjoy the weekend. The property manager was also great—super friendly, responsive, and easy to work with."

Hagrid's Escape Hut & 2 Escape Rooms Sleeps 15+

"The house was certainly unique and exactly what we were looking for to celebrate. We were especially attracted to the property because of the escape room options. As such, we were happy to pay more for this amazing experience. Unfortunately, we were disappointed that some of the escape room items were broken for the Buckbeak/Time Turner escape room. This was not made clear until we went to the hint website where it was listed. If it is known, the owners certainly can fix these items and have not yet. It would be good to do for future guests. It also made us question things in the harder escape room given the first one had issues. Additionally some "magical" things in the house, such as the self-knitting scarf, self-washing pan, and self-cutting bread no longer operated on their own, which was a disappointment. Cleanliness was not great. Some towels were still wet and the floors of the house were still quite sticky/dirty. We recommended these fixes to the host along with changes to the thermostat. In the hotter weather, the lock on the thermostat did not adequately cool the upstairs bedrooms. The host was responsive to our questions prior, but he did not respond to my feedback on the issues when I sent them to him. While the house and little details, including the wallpaper as well as the hut, magical creatures classroom, and the three broomsticks was incredibly fun, given the amount we paid, we would have appreciated everything working and a little better cleanliness."

"This 1 bedroom apartment has it all. The description did not do it justice. It is nicely furnished and decorated. It had every conceivable amenity, down to the wine glasses and all soaps and lotions. It was clean and comfortable. Had I not been on a biking schedule, I would have stayed longer. We went to Smoketown Brewery down the street for food and refreshment. We stayed for trivia. It was the best night we had biking the C/O. "
