Welcome to The Cabin On The Cove. Sleeps 8 with four bedrooms, two and a half bath log cabin located on a quiet cove just minutes from the Chesapeake Bay. Large private master bedroom looking over the water, with Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. Large back deck overlooking the water with gas grill. A dock for crabbing or mooring your boat, screened front porch, fire pit, paddle boards and other water sport options. LIMITED FIREWOOD AVAILABLE, RECOMMEND BRINGING SOME ALONG! Wireless internet so you can stay in touch with the rest of the world; if you want to. Very quiet property, enjoying drinking your coffee on the deck in the morning, or a glass of wine as the sunsets over Spring Cove. Conveniently located to some of the areas best waterfront dining, marinas, and some of the best fishing spots in the Chesapeake bay. If you want a quiet place on the water in the country to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, this is your spot. Best described as laid back and relaxing! Signs of Spring are popping up everywhere, and what better time than now to come to the Northern Neck. With the addition of a new amusement park, movie theatre, several breweries and vineyards minutes from each other, our area is one of the most sought after areas in Virginia. While boating, fishing, and other water sports have always been popular in the area, we also have nature reserves, state parks, and bike trails. Nice cabin

We had a really good stay. The house was perfect for our group. Plenty of room and the kitchen was just right for us. I definitely would recommend this cabin for a family getaway

What a great place! This was a clean, quiet getaway!

The property was quiet, remote, and clean! This was a quaint and peaceful getaway for my family. We rented a boat nearby and went fishing! We would love to return again!

Relaxing and peaceful. 3 nights with plenty of space for the five adults. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary items to cook and enjoy family size meal prep. I would definitely be back and hope to stay at the same location. Also, I found the price for my stay a whole lot reasonable than staying in a hotel.

Thank you to Ryan for a wonderful stay at the cabin. If you are looking for a peaceful stay for some R&R this is the place to be. Ryan went out of his way to make sure we had a canoe that I had requested. Unfortunately there were a ton of jellyfish the entire time we were there and the boys did not catch any fish. However, we did get some crabs and steamed them. Loved having the crab pots. The paddle board was great! Would def recommend!

Relaxing Getaway

Perfect Waterfront Getaway

The house is absolutely perfect for a serene get away. Owner is very helpful and responsive. The kids loved using the crab traps and going out of the kayaks.

Happy Easter!

This rental was a great idea for a weekend getaway. The kids loved being at a cabin on the water and being outside. Only downside was pollen but you can't control nature lol. Everything was cozy and comfortable. Found a great restaurant too and loved being off the grid. 100% would do again!

Northern neck tranquility

Loved this property… one of our favorite rentals yet. Very spacious house with a super functional kitchen and comfortable beds. We loved the kayaks and SUPs! Quiet location with a few small towns nearby.

Relaxing stay

This property was amazing and very accommodating! We had five kids and two adults and were very comfortable. The kids loved the kayaks and crabbing and fishing in the day and roasting s’mores at night. It was a perfect getaway from the crazy of life!

Amazing place!

We stayed for a week and had an amazing time! We caught crabs off the back deck. We loved going to Vir-Mar beach and all the local fishing spots. We also tried out the sunset cruise and had a fantastic time! Definitely an amazing vacation and can't wait to go again in the future! Any questions we had were answered quickly, Ryan was a fantastic host!

Family getaway

This was our family vacation for the summer, the cabin had everything we needed. The kids had a blast on the paddle boards and kayaks, the owner even gave us bait for the crab traps (the kids thought this was really neat). Was not to far to drive to do lots fun things Virgina had to offer.

This place is beautiful, & it’s a perfect getaway from the city. It was exactly as advertised on VRBO. The space was clean & stocked with many essentials. We also appreciated the small touches, such as the baby gate, as we traveled with a toddler. We definitely plan on visiting again!

Great cabin on the water!

We loved our stay at Ryan’s cabin. We especially enjoyed using the SUPs and kayaks he provided. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to prepare meals, and there are plenty of towels. Ryan was wonderful to communicate with - very responsive, kind, and professional. Thanks for a fun and memorable stay!
